I think 5 rings is good for Kobe's legacy

Even if he got another one or two.....he's still not passing Jordan

6 rings undefeated > Kobe 5 rings with Finals losses, Magic's 5 rings with Finals losses, Shaqs 4 rings with Finals losses or Lebrons however many rings with Finals losses.
i never understood why "6 rings undefeated" is such a big deal

like how is going 6/6 in the finals better than going 6/8?

you are really dumb if you dont get THAT
so in a 8 year span its better to win 6 championships and lose in the 2nd round twice than it is to get to the finals 8 times and win 6 of them?

how is it better for someones legacy to NOT make the finals?

always thought kareem's 6/10 finals is way more impressive than jordan's 6/6

making the finals last year and being 4/5 is better for duncan's legacy than if he had lost in the first round again and kept is perfect 4/4
the way duncan & co lost...you really beileve what u typed? the way bron & co lost to dirk ...you dont think he wished that never happened ...
there is NO way its better for duncan to have another loss to the grizzlies than to come within one shot of winning a 5th ring. duncan played great in that finals series

if you think lebron losing to dallas was bad, imagine the heat (ba bum pshhsh) he would get if his team didnt even make the finals

one of lebrons greatest moments was when he went 1v5 and destroyed the pistons to make the finals, are you really going to say "he shouldnt have done that because he lost in the finals"?

in 08 there is no way i would rather lose to the spurs or something before the finals rather than losing in the finals to a better celtics team

people love to laugh at manning losing to the seahawks this year but would not making the superbowl really be better for his legacy than making the superbowl but losing?

manning wouldve prefered to take the L 2 weeks prior than what happened in this yrs "super bowl" i guarantee it

"guys, i dont think we are going to beat the hawks if we make the SB so lets just throw the game and lose to tom brady so my legacy looks better"

sounds like loser talk to want to lose in an earlier round rather than the finals

want=/ preferred now...never knew

i prefer to lose in an earlier round than to lose in the finals

given the two choices, i want to pick the first option

want

wänt,wônt/

verb

  1. 1.

have a desire to possess or do (something); wish for.

pre·fer

priˈfər/

verb

  1. 1.

like (one thing or person) better than another or others; tend to choose.

you're struggling so much that you need to try and find a difference between "want" and "preferred"?

Nobody wants to be the loser in the big game. You make it all the way only to be forgotten when the confetti falls. I'm sure Peyton would've rather stunk up the joint in the AFC championship than in the SB.

And with that being said lets take time to reflect on MJ going 6-0 in the finals. Dude had a thirst for the big lights :smokin

all of this

not going to read through 30 pages...

just wanna say KD lost that MVP for Blake Griffin :smh:

better to get to the big game and lose than to never get to the big game in the first place, imo.

What's the difference between losing in the big game and losing in the playoffs? Unless your aim was to be a conference champion there isn't one. If you're not first, you're last.

in the grand scheme of things, losing is losing. but if when you are in the heat of competition where there is a chance you can win it all, you won't take it?

obviously losing isn't good whenever it happens, but i'd prefer lose in the finals than the conference finals. getting there is better than not getting there. although winning it all is the best.

So 0-82 = losing Game 7 of the NBA Finals?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

So does LeBron have 0 rings because of 2 other superstars? Does Wade have 1 because of 2 other superstars (he also did have Shaq for his 1st chip)
Actually it's a pretty common opinion that LeBron has "0 rings" due to playing with 2/3 HOF All-Stars.

Bird and Magic have no rings either then.

Some of y'all are ******ed man.

I'm saying though... DC started it. :smh: He stay trollin' people.
