That's a good trade for the Nets.

They got rid of two bums, and Thornton is much better than what he's showed this season.

@DT43
I mean you also have to consider that he's a what 5th or 6th year PG playing under Scott Brooks. Not really fair to compare him to TP, a 13 year vet who came up under Pop. The right coach would make better use of Russ. And at the end of the day, I'll suffer the poor shot selection for the fearlessness that produced Russy's last playoff run.
Agreed. Scott Brooks and the system plays a large role in it too.

GM's obviously don't respect the Knicks organization or Steve Mills (Knicks GM) enough.
I came to this conclusion a while ago. Every move the Knicks try to make is met with contention. Knicks will never prosper until we put the team in complete control of someone more capable.

The Knicks are also operating under the "don't take money past 2015" umbrella where the Nets don't give a F about money.

The jet should be a good mentor for mclemore
Really??

I'm assuming he's at least a good locker room guy too....which can't quite be said for Thornton

Brooks says Perk will start against Miami.

...This coach...
Kevin Durant: "I was just joking around with the Servant thing". Said to call him Kevin or KD.

Nets are on the 2016, keep it enough space for Durant. Not a bad plan, go all in for these next 2 seasons and just have D-Will on the books. They'll be positioned with Thornton and Hill to at least make a run at Miami and Indy if everyone can be healthy.

i like the kings move on getting jet. he will be a good locker room guy the first time he steps in.

The Nets are able to move Jason Terry and Reggie Evans without any issues, but the Knicks can't move Iman Shumpert or Raymond Felton? :lol:

Woj is reporting that the Clips and Knicks are talking about a deal involving Felton and Shumpert for Collison and something else. Not sure how I feel about it. I don't know that Shumpert is enough of an upgrade over our current wings to justify giving up Collison, who's been very good most of this season.
