Only 8 mil counts against the cap. Celtics wanted Asik earlier in the year. Both him and lin could be valuable trade chips next year cuz they will both be expiring contracts. Celtics don't give a **** about cap space this summer. It's common knowledge in Boston that they're trying to clear space for the 2015 free agency class and both Lin and Asik will be off the books by then.

LOL. Rondo is pretty over-rated if you ask me. He can't shoot, and his FT percentages are terrible. You can't have that, especially with DWIGHT being terrible at the line.

Regardless of the cap number, who would want to pay 30 million to both of those guys? Try convincing the guy writing checks to overpay for two players during a rebuild

I wouldn't take Rondo/Green at all. They are 3rd, and have the hottest streak, which proves something. You don't necessarily have to 'tweak' every little thing. They are playing good now, but if anything is a concern, I would say ASIK being disgruntle to affect them.

NO one is saying team chemistry is over-rated. Btw, NASH is correct with it. Dwight should move to help. It's the equivalent of potatoes standing around on the inbound when they know their guards are trapped. Given what Nash has accomplished, I would say his IQ to be 'correct'!

I don't like the deal myself, I think rondo could get a better return if you trade him during the draft. But with all this trade talk with Houston, I'm saying that the trade proposal I posted is the only one Ainge might consider. Jones and Parsons are both good players on rookie contracts and lin and asik are solid starters. I'm saying if Rockets want Rondo, that's the least it would take

Andre Miller in DC is a great move man. Another vet in his ear. Change of pace when Wall goes out. Can play both guard positions for when the Wiz wants to go small.

That talk about Rondo and Ray not getting along didn't come out until the tail end of Ray's last season in Boston.
Rondo-Harden-Howard isn't going to win you a championship if you have to give up Parsons .. now you have a whole at the 3 and backup center, possibly losing Lin as well.
The Rockets need to be looking at a legit 4 or a back up scorer off the bench.

it's bad, but not that bad to the point where they cant be flexible
rockets shouldnt even be thinking chip right now, it's more WCF and a decent showing in the playoffs. west still runs through SA and OKC

someone said it re: bringing rondo to HOU. clashing styles/egos, and you have that in the video. and trust i totally agree with you, nash trapped on the baseline what the hell is he supposed to do, probably cant even see dwight waving his arms

Milwaukee pulls trigger on deal with Charlotte for Gary Neal. Luke Ridnour also goes to Bobcats. Bucks get Ramon Jessions, Jeff Adrien.
Ramon Sessions is one of those good players that nobody seems to want. Good move for Charlotte though. They can use some additional shooting and Neal can do that.
