if the gun was registered, there wouldnt be any problems aside from "threatening" her?

as far as i know, he ain't even threaten her. gun was left at this broad's spot, they filed for divorce and she called her lawyer up to turn the gun in. she mentioned he waved the gun around a few times when they were together and she got scared. how you gonna wait a bunch of weeks to get scared enough to turn the gun in after he's not with you anymore?

that's plain ol vindictiveness man. that's a dirty move

im saying if the gun was registered it would be okay. i know you cant even have an unregistered weapon around. but as long as he had the proper papers to own the gun it would of been no biggie right? i hear ny gun laws are some of the toughest, so im just curious what it takes to own one in that state

He's getting at least two years if he's lucky. Some guy from the south who had a legal gun hot arrested in Manhattan lady year, they found the gun and he got two years. No priors or anything. It's not something that can be avoided and that's they even offer two in their plea deal.
