Why is this? What makes it desperate? Are most 10 day contract signings considered desperate?

I highly highly doubt the Kings are bringing him in on a 10 day contract, hoping that he is some sort of savior.

Low risk (unless he gets Cousins to commit that), medium reward. Might as well take a stab at a player who hasn't even played in the league yet and see if he can overcome his fear of flying.

I don't know for certain, but I would assume he had to fly to Sac for his work out in front of the Kings staff.... it would also be a good test to see if he can fly or not

trust me when i say, mental illness is much tougher than that. i don't wanna derail this thread into another royce white mental health discussion, but i know two things:

1) people without it have a very hard time understanding it
2) people with it have a very hard time explaining it to those without it
