Fun fact: Joakim Noah has four double-digit assist games this season. Carmelo Anthony has five in his career. #sharing

nonsense statistic

Now you see why i'm glad that hype train has left Sacramento

I think every new young white player has gotten hyped up by the sac fans and media. I guess its like a commodity there.

Bob hurley
Jason williams
Hawes
Jimmer

To some extent from the old days jim les and pete chilcutt

Who was the guy who had his own lochness monster shirt? Was it hawes?

You are blaming Sacramento for the hype? what?  Were you not watching Basketball when he was playing at BYU?  His cult following brought their Jimmermania hype with them from Utah

I'm with ya on this, Jimmer's hype train would have followed him no matter where he goes.

The highlight of the NY v Chi game was probably Jimmer's bucket

Joakim Noah was offered to the Kings for Spencer Hawes straight up and the Kings said no. Never forget.
Don't forget the Maloofs brought in Thibs for an interview before settling on this guy

and then again for Paul Westphal

Kings also passed on Thibs after interviewing him. Twice. For Theus and Westphal, neither of whom will likely work in the NBA again.

So what happened when ESPN predicted the knicks would take back this season and only get 37 wins?

first time they have gotten something so on point

Eh ESPN deserves no points. They just played the odds and came up right. Knicks haven't been able to sustain success for the last decade plus.
