key to indy's success is Lance. he allows pg to not have to be "the man" every night. the guy is solid at every aspect.

And lance is not that caliber of a player to take stress off of pg.

Anyone want to explain the Pacers right now? Their last few losses have me scratching my head

As the season is progressing, PG is regressing. Looking more and more like the 17 ppg player of last year.

His lack of dribbling ability really hurts him. Forces him to take a lot of long 2's and bad shots. To make matters worse, he isn't a dynamo sniper to begin with. His efficiency has gone completely out the window. The way he's played the last 20 games or so is definitely a cause of concern if you're a Pacers fan because this is the wrong time to start regressing with Miami making a push for that 1 seed.

He's still an all world defender though, and maybe that's the reason for his play on the other side of ball. Who knows, but 2 points? He put those kind of numbers last year from time to time, and he's supposed to be taking that leap this year. That 2 point stuff is supposed to be in the past now.

If you watched all his highlights from the first month of the season he was hitting ridiculous shots (mainly long twos) that he was never going to maintain.

What we basketball nerds like to call "regression to the mean" is taking place.

Dude jus came back from a year off and played on an and 1 squad. I'm pretty sure everything Joel oden does for miami Bynum can do for indy, which isn't much they both are corpses

theres a differnce tho because bynum dosent wanna play he just wants to collect a check and keep it moving. oden wants to make a comeback he has somthing to prove. Also theres no mins for bynum to get on the pacers. theres mins in the playoffs for oden to actually be a differnce maker which all he really needs to do is put his big body on hibbert which puts hibbert back into his normal mode.
