Beverly actually went for a steal the first time in the playoffs last year though. Tonight I think he legit was trolling

Reggie Jackson ran up and put two forearms in James Hardens chest, with no intentions of getting the ball.

After a time out call? Lol

Beverley is doing it to get under the skin of his opponents.. Don't necessarily blame him, because it has worked for him on occasion..

But tonight he obviously took that aggression to far and it backfired on him on certain key moments of the game.. Especially that late game 3 by Westbrook, which as was said above wasn't a good shot

Having said that, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if teams start intentionally doing it to the rockets forcing their coach and/or someone from the team to have to say something to the refs and/or the league.. Which will obviously be very difficult to hear considering their acceptance of Beverley's actions

OJ keeps signing with terrible teams or horrible fits. He needs to go to a top team for cheap and take that 6th man role. You cant have him starting and he needs to be like the 4th scoring option. I think thats the only way he'll "revive" his career.

Dallas wasn't a horrible fit at all. If he produced the way Dallas and co. assumed he would, it would have been a perfect fit. Had a chance to be a dynamo #2 option to dirk. Form a one two punch. However, he's just not good enough to be a #1 or #2 option.

I think he could still be a starter on a contender, but not like the first or second option or anything like that.

Are we still talking about last year? He almost got the steal before the timeout was called. Tonight though....

Lin seemed to love it when Westbrook was hounding him..

And harden especially seemed to enjoy it when Reggie charged at him prior to the timeout.. Or when Adams lifted his arm into his face unnecessarily (I'm sure that one looked familiar to lillard)

And we all know how well Dwight deals with people getting in his face

Are you talking about when they were on the ground fighting for the ball after Beverley poked it out and a foul was eventually called on Beverley?

Or are you talking about when Beverley got the tech when Westbrook had already picked up the ball after crossing halfcourt?

I was talking about when Westbrook went to call timeout tonight. I think Beverly did a little too much that time.

I thought when they were both on the floor around half court Beverly didn't do anything that crossed the line, but it did warrant a foul being called which did happen.

You think he almost got a steal on this?

Yeah man look at that and tell me they're the same with a straight face. Reggie looks like he's meeting a running back heads up in the gap  c'mon son

You're thinking too hard and confusing yourself.

I said, tonight I think Beverly crossed the line with that attempted steal. That was a little too much extra. Last year in the playoffs, when Russell initially got hurt, I think Beverley almost got the steal before the timeout.

Beverly seems to embrace a certain kind of "behavior" or reputation, to his advantage. Sort of like a gimmick, but a useful one.

Tonight he just went too far with it. Beyond usefulness. Caught in the moment a little.

IDGAF what it really is though, this is great stuff.

I think they're both trolling..

Misread your post above, my bad.. I thought you meant when he did it tonight prior to the timeout.. Not when he did it in the playoffs..

But even in the playoffs and I think he was doing it with sole intention of trying get under westbrook's skin and get him to do something stupid.. Maybe get a tech

Didn't westbrook attempt to steal the ball when a rockets pg (might've even been beverly) was going to call timeout last year? That was before beverly did it to him and injured him. I remember them showing it on tv and talking about it.

I just want to see these two face off in the playoffs. Both squads healthy. That would he :pimp:

 Where are the Heat fans who were wishfully saying "Bynum won't play, he's not gonna have any impact"

Sorry but..

8 points, 10 rebounds in 15 minutes. It takes Bosh 3 games to grab 10 rebounds

I mean this dude Bynum was a top 2 center in the L at one point. Look how much space he takes up, how much attention he demands from the defense. Indiana's gonna have a skilled 7-footer on the floor for all 48 minutes, and Oden can only be out there to defend for like 8-10 minutes

Not even worried about Bynum.

Dude has no work ethic, no will to win. A solid regular season debut against a tanking team doesn't negate the fact he'll be a fat bum in the playoffs.
