Westbrook is bigger, faster, stronger, younger and a better shooter.
I'd still rather have Rondo if I'm an OKC fan. He makes his team better Westbrook doesn't. Rondo is also a better defender, dribbler and passer so I guess it depends on what you value.

But that has nothing to do both the thunders needs. They need Westbrook to be a pg (which he naturally is not), someone that looks to pass first create for others and not take so many ill advised shots. Exactly what Rondo is, no?

All that is true but it takes more than just putting together the youngest, strongest and fastest players to win a title. The more I think about it I like that trade. Even with those attributes Rondo is the superior PG.

Just saw a commercial for a new McDonald's burger LeBron is endorsing. Something with bacon and Big Mac sauce. LeBron or not, I'm in.

Dont forget that Westbrook is a better defender and can pick up the scoring load if Durant is having an off night. Rondo might be a better playmaker but who the hell is he really gonna assist on OKC? He had Pierce, Allen and KG on those Boston teams to assist and that's why they contended for a championship. OKC doesn't have those scoring threats aside from Durant.

Regular season is not the same as the playoffs

I know why you wouldn't get that tho

Cute a random shot at me. In the playoffs the game slows down and Rondo is better in the half court and running the offense. I'd rather have a PG who can get others good looks than one who if his shot isn't falling can't help the offense.

Btw have any of you ever thought the reason the rest of the Thunder can't score is because they don't have a PG to get them the ball?

No westbrook

I don't think it's a serious injury. He was still stepping on that leg when leaving the court.

Westbrook is not a better defender than Rondo.

^^^Westbrook is a better defender than Rondo, defense is more than just steals. Russ has better lateral quickness than Rondo and thus he is able to stay in front of his man better. He's also more likely to get blocks than Rondo as well. I'm aware of Rondo's long arms, but Russ's explosiveness and lateral quickness give him the edge on defense.

How you gonna say it ain't bad cause he walked off? LOL

plenty of people walk off with torn acls

FYI, dudes who have torn ACLs have walked off under their own power. Until a MRI is done, all you can do is speculate.
Hell, rondo was playing with a torn acl

You're all right. It was a stupid observation.

Again no he is not. There is a reason you see Rondo defending players way bigger than him.
