I'm glad y'all addressed that idiotic contract year talk about Melo. Dumbest **** I've read this week. Never really been a huge fan of Melo...but fair is fair g.

I heard he's the first guy to average 28 and 8 since Shaq in 2000.

That's not bad. :smokin

And he's been hitting 41% of his 3's this year too

41% from 3 is real nice, Melo deserves his money but I'm still weary of that Knicks situation.

Detroit sucks, but as usual.. Drummond is flourishing.

Unfortunately, you know he's taking that first extension.. so I can't wait to watch him if/when they trade Jennings/Smith or they expire. So that's what.. 3 years from now? :smh:

Lawd, it's going to be up to Brooklyn to prevent the Heat from getting back to the Finals. Pacers have checked out.

Pacers lose to the Raps without Lowry or Amir, arguably their two most valuable players.

Raptors shot 48% from the field, and 45% from 3.

Pacers got problems.

The bit of saving grace is he'll only be 23.

I pray Detroit FO doesn't rob us of seeing Drummond flourish to his maximum potential.

They haven't checked out. Their defense has came down to a bit and they were never offensive juggernauts to begin with.

All that may be true, but clearly the focus they had earlier in the season isn't there. That whole last minute was inexcusable mentally.

What's dangerous about the Pacers is they aren't stopping anyone anymore. So come playoff time, you combine their defensive efforts with their offensive issues and you have a team that can be beaten, and not just by Miami either.

They've got to get back to who they supposedly were defensively, because who they are on offense now, is who they're going to remain, that isn't changing.

I just can't take Dwayne Casey in a series over Frank Vogel.

but if the Pacers offence stays this putrid the raptors have an actual chance.

You take it as mental lapse, I take it as them regressing to who they're supposed to be a bit. They were defending at an all world, historic level. Once that came down, you finally see who they are. They can't score, which puts them in a lot of close games, like tonight. And as you and I saw, their offense down the stretch is really bad to me. Like...Who's their most efficient scoring option to go to down the stretch? That's probably the biggest issue.

Knicks fans. where would you say THIS team has been hiding at all season?

They haven't been that bad defensively, even throughout this stretch they've been top 5 in the league in pts allowed. They've been offensively challenged, but all you have to do is listen to the soundbites coming from the locker room and all the other stuff written to know that it's more than just on the floor struggles right now with them.

Pacers are still who we thought they were, they're still an all world defense with the best perimeter defender and 2nd best post defender in the league. That defense will especially hold up come playoff time, will they be able to score more than 80? I doubt it but their problems are chemistry more so than defensive talent/system.

Offense is beyond poor, they literally have no perimeter shooting and George Hill is terrible.

To be honest, I can't take anything away from a game when JR Smith takes 15 three pointers and makes half of them.

This is just a freak game like that.
