Russy impossible to stop when he gets going like this. Dat midrange, Dat explosiveness. Dat finishing ability.

Fun to watch.

Reason #1 Clips won't beat OKC: Russ will eat CP3 alive all series long.

They have gotten to what amounts to a bye in the 1st round and major injury breaks since they've come together.

Heat's 1st round opponents last 3 seasons: Philly (41-41) Knicks (36-30) Bucks (38-44)
Heat's 2nd round opponents last 3 seasons: Celtics (56-26) no Rondo after Game 1, Pacers (42-24), Bulls no Rose (45-37)

Just comparison to Thunder, Spurs and Mavs from those same time periods:

Dallas: 2011- Portland (48-34), LA Lakers (57-25)
OKC: 2012- Dallas (36-30), LA Lakers (41-25)
San Antonio: 2013- LA Lakers (45-37) no Kobe, GS (47-35)

So could they get to the Finals in the West, yes. But not having to exert any energy at all in the 1st round and playing mediocre to very bad squads helps a lot. Again this season they'll be playing the Bobcats/Wizards or Hawks/Knicks which will barely be .500 or well below in the 8th seed case. While out West there's going to be a 48+ win team that'll be the 8th seed or even 9th seed that may miss the playoffs. Thing is they wouldn't be able to take any nights off.

Bosh was hurt for almost two whole series in 2012 I don't know how people forget this.

So wade and Bosh being hurt don't count? Bosh missed almost 2 series one year, and Wade was dealing with injuries as well over the past 3 seasons. Like I said, last year was the first easy move to the ECF. Let's see what happens this time, Bulls are out here giving everyone problems unexpectedly and aren't a pushover.

Big Baby with the "AYEEEEEEEE" on every shot

Y'all sleep on Cp3 defensively. Yeah Russ is Frying him, but I've seen cp3 flat out shut Russ down and take him out his game.

It counts, but that more so belabors my point, East is so weak, they don't even have to be at full strength to win and dominate series at least in the early rounds. We've seen what happens in a conference Finals, and Finals when a team is remotely close to them, they have to work every game, and usually go through extended series, which is what'd they'd have to do every single round in the West playoffs.

They went to 6 games vs indy and 7 against Boston when bosh was out, those teams aren't as big as push over as your making them seem like. The only coast they had in 2012 was round 1 against the Knicks. 2013 was a coast to the ECF I'll give you that Eben with wades knees

The West has had major injuries as well including Kobe/Westbrook/Griffin. There were some easy series out there too is all I'm saying. End of the day, the best always beats the best. Let's enjoy this premier West Coast match up tonight, hopefully they match up in WCF.
