I'm so disappointed with James Harden, I was such a huge fan at ASU coming into the league, going to houston, I thought he was Manu ginobili 2.0. turns out he's manu ginobili lite.

He's still an elite offensive talent, don't know how you could call him a disappointment.

I thought he could be a elite 2 way player, like Ginobili was in his prime, turns out he's only elite one way.

He's been the best SG, but if he would just TRY on defense he could be even better.

Easily the most shallow position talent wise in the league.

Harden isnt really a horrible defender. He just never gives the effort on defense. He has the ability and tools to be an average or above average defender but dudes just

lazy dab 

Hes not like other players that are just incapable of playing d cause they have limitations. Hes still maturing tho so hopefully he really works on giving 100% effort in the future

If he does then thats the day his game is gonna take another step

I wouldn't call him a standout defender in the league but he's shown a lot of good signs, for a 20-year old. He's not one of those scorers who doesn't care about D, he's active and doesn't give up on plays (has quite a few highlight chasedown blocks).. our coach has praised his defensive effort a lot, he will be a plus defender imo


The main problem I've seen is he's gotten bodied by bigger SGs like Wesley Matthews, so hopefully he can put on some strength.

Na Harden is a horrible defender, doesn't matter if he has the tools to be a good one, as it stands, he's bad.

If Houston wants to make the next step either he has to make the decision to play defense or they have to get a coach who demands it.

I always thought they were going to let him finish out the contract at the very least. If this series goes 6 games he stays.

Wouldn't even be surprised if Bogut tried to play.
