1 game suspension? He hit him with the clothesline from hell in mid air, thats worse than the artest elbow
The commisioner wouldn't be mean enough to suspend a guy for more than one game in a Lakers-Celtics series

Blake Griffin would die if someone hit him like that.
Blake would reenact the JFK assassination if that happened

Just because you dont agree with his decisions doesnt mean hes a trash coach, cant be a bad coach if you took your team to the finals out of the west

Good coaches make good teams great. He survives off the Durant and Westbrook's absurd level of talent. Stick him on a team w/o a superstar (Suns, Grizz, Chicago) they'd tank with the type of decisions he makes

That's just a terrible basketball play though. He could've put that energy into trying block him going up for the layup and preventing 2 points, instead dude just completely took him out

Is dude serious?  Of course this would be an ejection...  It's a clothesline.  It was considered incredibly dirty at the time too.

That's my point doe, the 80s refereeing was too lenient at that time
Now the problem is that some ticky tack fouls are considered to be flagrant
I would rather have this generation's refereeing tbh

Well I know that, but dude was implying that a flagrant and a one game suspension wouldn't be warranted in that situation- which is ridiculous. Dude could have cracked his head and been permanently injured.
Somehow it was just called a mere personal foul back then.
But my point was in relation to how people were talking about the "Bad Boys" and how they are longing for those type of dirty plays
Refereeing is better now compared to those days, but in no way perfect

I am convince that the people, who want to see the reckless-fouling style of the 80s, don't actually play basketball themselves.
