If he would have been offered a 2 year, 6 million dollar deal he should have laughed in their faces, put up 14 and 11 with 2.5 blocks this year, then bounce when another team offers him a bigger deal. No one else was interested in him because he's on his rookie contract and it was assumed he would be extended. Had they not offered him a contract, then you'd hear more about it.

if he puts up 14 and 11 this year Utah can still give him that contract offer in the offseason. I like favors a lot and hopes he turns it up with milsap gone but I saw little reason to pay him that much right now.

As far as Melo, he might be slowly damaging his reputation as a player. He plays selfishly for the most part and is not a team player. That being said, only two coaches I can see whippin him into rare form would be Doc, Thibs, and Pop


On another note, what is up w/ OKC keepin Perk as their starting center? I mean, seriously.

20 8 5, cut back on the turnovers, improve his efficiency and lead his team to the playoffs I think he'll win it.

Got my first draft in about an hour.

Fantasy basketball is always a delight for me, although for me it isn't nearly as fun as fantasy football since there are so many more statistics than football so its a little more convoluted and not as straight forward.

Last year he averaged 18 7.6 4 maybe 20 is a stretch but the other numbers are obtainable

He'll get 20, if he improves his jumper than sky is the limit for him. It will be between him, Westbrook, Kyrie and Steph for best PG in the coming years.

Not sure he'll ever be able to do the same post move two times over, but the defense and rebounding is already at a near elite level. He can probably hustle his way to 14-15 PPG.
