The Pacers are deeper and thirstier than they were last year so they have a good shot at beating Miami if the Bulls dont beat one of them first.

I'm not even playing when I say this: Chris paul is easily better than lebron and is the best player in the world. I feel he's slighted a bit b/c he's not a high flier. I'm not a fan of his (mainly b/c of the flopping) but I'm a fan of great basketball. Eerily, we look a lot alike and coincidentally, my game has always been a diet version of his, even years before I even knew who he was.
and how is he better than lebron?

Dude you've been wilding the past few posts. Paul is far and away the best point in the world IMO but I think you need some rest

The fact that you chose Vincent Van ho as a screen name prevents me from taking anything you say seriously. You're the one that's wilding.

The only thing lebron has that cp doesn't is explosive hops and chase down blocks. Cp is an excellent defensive player in his own right.

Pacers had a pg who fit them and traded him away (DC). When you have D Rose saying they were more of a threat with him, that let's you know what he brought to the team.

Lebron is also a great rebounder, and can defend 4 out of 5 positions.

Everybody on here loves Chris Paul, but you're doing him a disservice right now.

Chris Paul never lead his NO team to the finals like Lebron did in Cleveland, and that was a team with JR Smith, David West, Desmond Mason, Brandon Bass, and the Birdman.

Just let Chris Paul be great, he doesnt have to be better than Lebron.

damn, and I HATE Lebron, and yall got me on here defending him

I hope Chi plays BK again in the playoffs just to prove a point. They are the only team that has a shot at MIA.
I disagree. You beat MIA in the paint & unless Oden pans out, Lopez or Garnett will have a mismatch.

Since the formation of the big 3, the only 2 EC teams who were actually on the verge on eliminating MIA were BOS & IND because Garnett & Hibbert were ravaging them down low.

Miami will have more problems against Brooklyn & Indiana than they will against Chicago simply because of the matchups down low. Chicago doesn't have anyone who can consistently exploit down there.

Rose hasn't shown me anything that leads me to believe that he'll able to overcome that. In his last deep playoff run, he shot 39% from the field, 35% against MIA, 6% when Lebron guarded him. The year after that, he played in 1 playoff game where he shot 39%. The year after that he sat out the season.

rondo to indy isn't that far fetched when you consider that danny ainge and larry bird would be the ones facilitating it. I don't know each team's assets but I would assume indy would have to eat crash's contract if they want rondo

Indiana isn't paying any luxury tax, they've said so before. Maybe the opportunity to get Rondo makes them rethink that, but I doubt it, even moreso if Boston tries to shoehorn a contract in the deal

Indy is a PG away from beating Mia. Not sure why they didn't go after one this offseason
Damn Sleeping on Hill that hard.....
The problem with Hill, is that he's even said himself that he isn't a PG

they need a true facilitator out there, at least off the bench.

They should see what Saruns Jasikevicius is up to

?

You've suggested the Pacers go after Chris Paul and Rondo and was trying to brag that you've been suggesting Rondo the whole summer. This isn't a video game and in NBA 2K that **** still wouldn't even be possible. You can't just acquire an All-NBA caliber point guard because you think it'd be a good fit. Real life doesn't work that way.

As far as you suggesting that Chris Paul is easily better than LeBron James, hopefully that's enough for most folks to not take anything you spew from here on out seriously.

I honestly think doc will whip the clips into a legitimate contender; they just may give okc and sas a run for their money.

East is gonna be a dog fight between mia and bk, I just don't think chi or indi are going to have what it takes to go the distance, and i was a HUGE indiana supporter last year.

CP3 is the most underperforming "superstar" in the league year after year. No one faults him for it, it's never his fault, but he's known for not showing up time after time, again and again, and I can't excuse that. That's why to me, CP3 isn't even the best point guard in the league. There's absolutely NO REASON he shouldn't have gone to the WCF every year he's been with LAC. Last year he had probably top to bottom the best team in the league (excusing his coach), but now he has a top 2 coach AND a team that is 2nd best overall from a personnel standpoint. If he doesn't make it to the finals this year then CP3 is dead to me as a so-called "superstar", say what you will about his team, but if you're a true "superstar" with that kind of talent around you, you make it work.

Sidenote I cant expect most of you to know anything going on with the bulls if your not a bulls fan but thibs and the organization are making plenty of changes on PT and health, thibs and everyone know whats up for grabs... also I think you will be shocked by what the bench does but I know yall wont believe till you see Jimmy butler will be huge but someone else on the squad looks ready to make a big jump just wait 8)

Rather have Paul than any other point but it's a deep pool of talent in the position so it's all a matter of opinion

Main point being, Paul aint more valuable or a better player than James, which was a ridiculous statement

You dont think playing on a contender will give kg and pierce that extra motivation, and you cant double team anybody on bk, too many scoring options for chi to handle, d rose can only do so much and if they play mia bron will contain him
See the difference is that this is not 2011. Chicago knows how to play without D Rose. They played an entire year without him, they know what works, everyone is completely comfortable with their offensive ability with or without him. Our bench is looking great and Taj Gibson is looking like he's going for Most Improved this year, no one else on the East really has a chance except us.
