He doesn't play any defense or do anything particularly great outside of score. Which he doesn't do at any outstanding efficiency.

Not to say he won't be top 5 and isn't a franchise player. But he isn't top 4 today.
hes a good facilitator, arguably the best passer at his position, he also lives at the ft line best player in the league at drawing fouls aka the flop layup

I've seen a lot of Rockets fans post "let's get Lemarcus, let's get K Love" over the past few months. And people wanna say Laker/Knick fans are bad in that regard...

That is nothing close to what Knicks fans and the LA Trade Machine fans have said, so please stop

Kyrie behind Bron and Durant?

That's tight.
That was clearly Cleveland's GM who voted for him lol

3. Kyrie Irving, Cleveland -- 3.4%

3.4% = 1/30

Also, under "Who is the best passer" there is a mysterious vote for Dion Waiters.. :nerd:

What on Earth are you talking about, Harden is one of the most efficient high-volume scorers in the league, in fact he's the 3rd most efficient outside of only LeBron and Durant.

He's also a great playmaker who's more than capable of running an offense. Put him in a PNR and he's a monster. "Only a scorer" is the guy OKC replaced him with, Kevin Martin.

from a knicks' fan standpoint i can tell you that most of the stuff you read on this forum at least regarding trades and whatnot is jokes

I found this interesting in the Grantland article:

22. J.R. Smith Will Start at Least 20 Games

His agency, CAA, plays a huge role in running the team. Smith has indicated he'd like to start, and Woodson almost preemptively sounded the alarm on this issue when training camp opened. The Knicks are weird.

Unrealistic is unrealistic.

My point is fans in general get greedy. They get rich, then they wanna get richer. And a lot become unrealistic in the process. Just so happens teams like the Lakers always seem to have some riches (they've had Kobe for 17 years), so fans get greedy wanting more than that.

For fans of other teams, it's not often they get rich. But boy when they do it's like the 2K Myplayer mode in terms of dream trade scenarios just the same.

They just mentioned that hes gonna end up starting in the Bill and Jalens NBA preview

hahaha. Isnt there a rule you can't vote for your team?

Just watched the Grantland on the Grizzlies, surprisingly they have all been pretty much on point. But they did make a few good observations about the Grizz :
- how is Tony Allen a starting 2 guard in the NBA, a sixth man yes, but a shooting guard that can't shoot
-mike conley is not an all-star guard, nor one of the best four point guards in the NBA
-if Z-Bo is not in shape -- it can be a rapid decline because of the type of game he plays
-still have not addressed the backup point guard position, and Bayless is not the answer...

I agree with a lot of what they said, but the backup PG position has been addressed. Calathes is unproven, but he's looked great in preseason. I see him doing well this season. Bayless has also played well when a secondary ball handler is out on the floor with him.

I'm not sure what Conley not being an all-star or one of th best four PG's in the NBA has to do with anything  . That does not take away the fact that he's probably the best PG defender in the league and is top 10 (regardless of what people say). Everything else I can agree on. TA is better suited off the bench and I think ZBO is done. He may give us another surprise playoff performance, but he's officially the 3rd best player on the team behind Gasol and Conley. He's going to get the Rudy Gay treatment this season from the front office.

And for the guy that said "the experts know more about these players than we do", those "experts" include bloggers from the ESPN network . The Grizz 3SOB blogger was one of the voters and he's a regular fan just like us. I'm not sure who are the other voters, but I'm sure 30 of them were bloggers of their respective teams.

Start JR and Melo? With only one ball?

How?

1st one thru the basket counts
defenders get a extra player on the court for defense only
ny gets an extra player on defense also just because its needed regardless of the addition of a 2nd ball

James Harden has quickly become so overrated but its whatever, I'll wait for him to stink it up in the playoffs when he cant just barrel into the lane and get ticky-tack fouls against elite defenses.
