What Lebron did last year has never been done by a perimeter player in the history of the NBA but still you can't put his career in perspective until its over, we still have more greatness to witness

BASED ON career achievements...Lebron isn't better than anyone of those 5 guys u named because his career isn't done (debatable), but if he keeps this pace, he will easily top Magic, Bird, Kareem, Wilt....i don't think Lebron will ever be better than MJ (regardless if Lebron win 7 rings), based on the fact MJ changed the game, his popularity  and his stans.

Lebron peak is better than Kareem/Magic/Bird IMHO

I agree. I'll take it a step further.

His peak could be better than Kareem/Magic/Bird/Jordan/whomever else.

What this guy is doing is unbelievable. He isn't even 30. If he keeps what he's doing up right now, that'll arguably be a peak that's better than anyone else in league history. However, that depends on how long he can extend his peak, or his prime that he is in now.

And as far as top 5, I just feel that he's already done enough to be top 5. He's done it all on a level done by maybe only a few players have done it ever. That's top 5 material.

larry to me is a better rebounder, faciliator, shooter and crunch time scorer

lettuce not forget he swept jordan twice and played against the bad boy

pistons, showtime era lakers and countless other hall of famers

he won 3 straight MVP'S in magic's prime and was a career 25-10-6-2 guy

im not saying lebron cant ecplise that ..i would just like to see him play a few more seasons

before we make judgement on an all time list

michael jordan

kareem abdul jabar

magic johnson

larry bird

wilt chamberlain

take someone out that list

if you want to be regarded as a top 5/top 10 player you cant just look at peak you have to look at what they have done as a whole. i think lebron will be top 5 when he retires but as of now, with two championships, he's not there yet. if he were to never win another title then he would not be top 5.

and peak wilt is the most overrated player in sports, how can you be top 5 all time when you only led your team to one championship while having the same guy beat you in the playoffs every year

i actually think he could one day be top 3,2,1 etc sky's the limit

i just need to see him body people in a few more finals before we

make judgement on his career

:smokin
and a better passer. Lebron can be perfect at any position

Larry's a great passer as well, But I agree. When I say that Lebron is a better shot creator, I didn't mean just for himself I meant for others as well.

i'm not a fan of comparing players from different eras, but larry was a great play maker. let's not front on his 6 apg career average. and i'm willing to bet his usage rate is a lot lower than lebrons

yup, pretty much what i'm saying

and yeah if he does end up with 7 chips then i would put him above jordan

I think most would agree that there's no telling how great he can become. It's beautiful to watch honestly. I'm potentially watching someone who has a great shot at being the greatest ever.

Yup 7 puts him above Jordan easy. And honestly he could get 7....
but as of october 24th (25th for you east coasters) 2013, lebron has 2 championships

so lets chill with the top 5 all time talk
