Seth Curry looks slow and not as agile as his brother. Yes, he can shoot but will he get his shot off?
Plays will be run. This same criticism can be applied to Kyle Korver, Jason Kapono, Mike Dunleavy JR, James Jones, and all the other non athletic shooters who are still the in league getting their shots off.

I don't think anyone is in here saying he's the next Stephen Curry.

He will get a shot in the NBA. Shooters always do.

Not really sure what your argument is.

I just don't see why y'all gassing him doing things other players who never made an impact in the league did like its proof he should be in the league. Only thing that's NBA ready is his shooting, don't see him being able to play the 1 or the 2 at the next level. He already got a sympathy shot with GSW and they let him walk, I loved him at Duke but lets be real.

Anyone remember Dan Majerle.

I'm low key interested to see Stauskas in the league. Can he be poor man's Klay.

I like Stauskas a lot, shoots the lights out and has sneaky athleticism. He just needs to put a little more muscle on and I could see him falling to the right team that's already a contender and contributing.

All those guys atleast have NBA size for their position

There was no room for him in Golden State, again people shouldn't be gassing him (which I don't think many are) but you are taking things too far in the other direction saying he isn't an NBA talent. When guys like little Hansborough, Penberthy, Quinn, Brian Cook etc. etc. etc. have played in multiple NBA games

Every guys you mentioned has premium positional size, comparing them to Seth is completely ridiculous.

Seth's comparables are probably closer to Boobie Gibson, maybe best case Eddie House? House was a much better defender though.

I just picked the first names that came to mind, if I really wanted to take it there, I could find a bunch of average sized guards who stuck around off the merit of their shooting. Shooters find work, thats all there is to it.

:pimp:

There is so much in this GIF it is over alot of folks heads. When basketball is played the right way, you can have fun like this at another teams expense...Whoever they played last night should be docked a game check...

No, I just can't agree with the statement, "There is NO reason why Seth isn't in the NBA." He isn't a hands down NBA player at this point in time.

But those guys are shooters with size.

I've always felt Seth was an NBA talent though. He could end up a Jason Terry (Not ATL JT) / Eddie House / Steve Kerr type of Hybrid kind of guy to me

Exactly he very well could and size has little to do with running off of screens and shooting open shots.

its not as easy as you might think

6'3 non athlete SG's with short arms who can't play the 1 aren't in the league that long. Bobbie Gibson, Eddie House...and that white guy with the last name Carrol

I can't think of many, I would say Danny Green but he's 6'5.

All those guys are tall with lightning quick releases. Especially Mike Dunleavy and Kyle Korver. You give them room for a millionth of a millisecond and the ball is in the air.

Look at this poverty bucks hawks game on NBA TV right now from october of 1970. I can't believe that some people actually think that any of those players with the exception of Kareem are any good. (Oscar included)

Great for their time period? Sure. But any unbiased person watching can see just how cringeworthy all of these players are on the floor. Then again, I am comparing their standard of play to today's, but still. There are people who actually think that guys from that era are better than the guys of today  :smh:
