maybe if you followed kevin garnett before he came to boston you could recognize that and stop letting the hate feel your head.
all around a prime KG was better but they both had the label of not being able to win a chip.
once kevin garnett came to boston the pressure of being the main man was gone thus creating the ego maniac who picks on white players known as present day KG
stick melo with two other stars that fit his game and he has every chance to win a title.

Yeah Pierce is a good comparison. He really changed his attitude and style to become better, don't know if Melo will do that . Right now he's old Pierce.

I wouldn't put much stock in his changing of attitude and style. I mean, If one has that much talent around him, of course he isn't going to be the same player as he was prior to them arriving
I can hear it now. If Melo ends up on a competent team with an actual supporting cast people will be talking about how "he's changed his game and attitude"

nah, you just came through with a terrible comparison fam. id go into the details of why the comparison doesnt add up any way you draw it, but it'd end up a wall of text. and ive watched "big ticket" since he's been in the league.
we're talking about the KG that used to give Tim Duncan legitimate workouts on both ends of the floor. They battled a lot, and Timmy has multiple rings. Try thinking about all of the intangible parts of the game like coaching, style, competition, etc. There's much more to it than just saying Melo didnt win with pieces, and neither did KG.

And contrary to the popular Belief about Melo, He does pass the ball. Quite often. So when he said he wasn't being aggressive enough in the fourth thus far, I understand what he's talking about.
The difference though, is that when he passes, he just...passes. He doesn't create shots for others because he's too busy shooting a tough shot himself. This is why statisically, his assist rate looks so poor. That and he has some poor teammates around him.

i just realized that chris smith is still on the knicks roster
according to Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose, it is rubbing ALOT of people in the league the wrong way, with how and why it was done....
-Bill Simmons made mention of this in the NBA preview series, that there are a lot of problems in the Knicks locker room, it seems as if this was something he was talking about.
