If Bynum can keep healthy Cleveland got a steal over the summer. They didn't risk a lot and he's played great for em as of late.

The reason TMac is remembered so fondly is because he had one season where he averaged 32 points (!!!), and in the era when scoring was down across the board .

And like Black Migo said, he was better in an offense than Melo.

team scoring was down but individual player scoring was at an all time high back in the early to mid 2000s. In the year he scored 32 a game 25 people in the league scored over 20 ppg, last year where melo won the scoring title only 9 players scored over 20ppg. Offenses are more advanced these days which is why overall scoring is up but back then most teams played give the ball to the best player and watch him score basketball. the top 4 scorers in the NBA the year kobe averaged 35 had averages higher than anyone has in todays nba since 2010.

tmac's true prime was his last three years in orlando, the first season he lost in the first round to the hornets 3-1, the second year was his best season ever where they were up 3-1 to the pistons and he said that it feels great to be in the second round, his team proceeds to lose the next 3 games by an average of 27 points. yes that pistons team was great and his team was trash but if melo were to say something like that and lose the series there would be a NT summit in NY trying to burn his house down. the third year his team went 21-61
