Paul George is playing on the perimeter too much. That is, he's playing with the ball on perimeter too much. Agains a team like Miami that's not going to get you buckets, especially being guarded by Lebron.

What they need to do is get PG the ball in a "kill zone" space. 17-15 feet where he doesn't need a screen to score or be effective.

larry legend was saying that too during his contract extension press conf. dude can easily get to the paint and draw fouls. he has a nice shot, but you cant fall in love with the three ball.
That's why I'm not 100% sold on his ascension to offensive "superstardom" yet

He's averaging 25ppg but with not even 6 FTAs. Basically his increase in ppg is solely due to him shooting at an unsustainable rate from midrange. A true offensive superstar should be getting 8-10 FT attempts per night

Lebron is basically making a statement to Paul George that he's long way to go to be the MVP
Durant let him know too

Well, for me it's like...The most successful wings in the league don't play the point guard position aside from a few moments during the game.

Kobe, Jordan, when they are most effective they are operating from the wing, elbow area. Places where it's hard to trap them without being burned, and they don't need any dribbles or screen to be effective because by default, they are in a "score" area because of where they catch the ball.

Paul George, Kd does it too, Harden does it, they play too much with the ball at the top of the key and they are just too great of players to allow defenses to take the ball out their hands, which they will. It's too hard to try and make a play from the three point line, especially when it's up against elite defense. All that will happen is they'll blitz you and force the ball out of your hands. As good as Lebron was in Cleveland, he started being a dynamo offensive player who's percentages shot through the roof in large part because of the quality of shots he's getting, which has partly to do with where he's setting up shop at.

Well said.

These "fouls" they give wade are laughable. He bumps into players intentionally and gets the call. The nba is basically a free throw shooting contest these days.

Meanwhile people claim melo throws himself into players.

Nba is trash for the most part. Playoffs are def better. They let Indiana get away with a lot in the playoffs. Now? They aren't. Hence the score

Not talking about any team in particular, but it's the NBA's fault for rewarding flopping.

If a ball handler bumps into a defensive player that holds his ground, he's going to get a foul call in his favor more times than not. But if the defensive player has the exact same position and flops under this same circumstance, an offensive foul will probably get called.

Defense is all about position. Defense in the NBA is half about position and half about theatrics. That's the league's fault.

Why doesn't a player completly air out a flopper though? Take the mic and just say it. You never hear it.

Frauds? Down 7 at half to the back-to-back defending NBA champions. Keyshawn says, "Come on, man."

PG24 about to turn up in the second-half. He's better than this.

Because everybody flops whether on defense or offense.

Probably because there's guys on ever team who do it.  And it's considered a legitimate tactic.  I don't like it, but if you were a coach wouldn't you tell your players to flop?  I would train them on proper flopping technique during practice.  NBA rewards it.

Lol hibbert getting this Ricky tack calls I'm surprised he hasn't fell onto the ground as much as he usually does.
