Exactly, they play in the East. Voters will take that into account when comparing Lebron's season to Durant's.

It won't just be about team record this year because everyone knows how much disparity there is between conferences.

Durant is gonna have more opportunities for big games against the West's elite.. if he delivers in those big moments, the award will be his.
