Evan Turner has potential? I must've forgotten that after watching him play for years with no discernible basketball skills.

No discernible skills? Let's be real. He's a solid player. He rebounds and passes well. He's not a superstar or even an all star, but he's an above average player

yeah Evan Turner is a great player. Easily top 5 Reb at the SF position. He plays great defense and has IQ. One of my fav players in the league.

I've been one of the bigger Paul George haters (deng 2.0, not a star, wont improve, etc) but he's been looking great so far this season. Aggressive offensively and doing the little things too. Definitely see improvement.

why have you "hated" him? kid's got everything to be a top talent in the league

I felt like he was too passive sometimes. There would be games where he wouldnt even attempt more than 10 shots. Straight mediocre games. Also I felt he was unable to take over the game like a superstar can do. Hope he proves me wrong more though (except against us lol). I like the kid.

D Rose is playing like he forgot that he's only 6'2. It's like he has no idea how to play against guys who are bigger than him. I say this because he's playing in traffic and trying to finish over 4's and 5's as if they are going to let him score just boneheaded mistakes. He'll figure it out though, it's a long season.

#FreeAustinRivers. Worked really hard this offseason. Son needs a chance to showcase his improvement

Cmon now that's hyperbole, you dont get drafted #2 if you have no skills. What you thought people were hyped off his athleticism?

Turner has size, great handles and passing vision, he has the potential to be a great point-forward type player.. he just needed to put it all together

We need an NBA thread where discussion of stars is not allowed. I think that would really filter out some of the crap in here and lead to some interesting conversations.

really? I mean, I watched every game jrue played, and imo he reached his peak. a 16-17ppg 7-8 assist guy. Thats not bad, but I think mcw will have more of an upside to him, plus we got noel and a draft pick from that trade.
