A true pg job isnt to be the #1 option though, thats why the clippers arent going nowhere

i mean having a true pg as your best player, you can argue about TP but those spurs teams were just as much duncan's teams as they were TPs. but if you look at teams were a true pg was by far the best player like the nash suns/kidd nets a true pg lead team ends up winning a bunch of regular season games and falls short in the playoffs year after year. looks like CP is going to continue the trend if the clippers dont get a second legit #1 option

He came into the league as a liability and Stan Van Gundy made him learn to earn playing time.

Now he's a good defender. 3 and D, so he has a place in the league for a long time.

Getting out played and being on fire aren't the same thing. Out played as in getting the loose balls, getting stops etc
