...Whatever happened to that whole NBA players list involved with Biogenesis in Miami?

Just disappeared.

LeBron James is the most famous athlete and one of the most famous people on the planet at the moment. Could you imagine if he got caught up in something like that in the prime of his career? It would ruin the NBA.

Word. Stats have no value if we aren't talking about players with rings.
It is a ridiculously arbitrary stat with all those conditions though.... Like how much does that change if it goes to 15 or 20 seconds? Or 5?
7/10 is impressive but it would be dumb to read into this too much

pretty much all of bosh's 3s are open looks while guys like kobe/vince/jordan/wade/lebron have to shoot well contested jumpers

i want to see fisher's numbers for this, im guessing it will be a lot closer to bosh's

From twitter:

Basically sounds like dude was going YOLO and jacking up threes.. nothing Mike Brown hasn't seen before of course

Eh, nba would be just fine. Baseball had McGuire bonds a-rod all Americas sweethearts disgrace the game and the league is still fine. I don't believe there would be a biogenesis cover up from the league to protect its image. I just think there's no evidence

Eh, my gripe is more with his reasoning more so than the downplaying of stat.
with ya on this.

It's still a notable statistic, but more so to highlight understated players rather than take down proven superstars.

did people actually stop watching baseball because of PEDs? if anything it made the sport more exciting

I'm pretty sure people did stop watching, not sure on the facts though.

All of the suspensions and stuff like that ruin the sport and it would definitely ruin the NBA for a while.

Just like the MLB, if it happened in the NBA a lot of these superstar guys and Hall of Fame guys would be viewed as frauds.

Quake emerging. Hate on. Right behind AD, Love, LMA.

Kanter may never be as great as we thought or hoped. I expected double-double a night the way he hits the offensive glass for easy putbacks.

yeah but from a fan/ratings standpoint the suspensions will hurt the league, not the knowledge of players using PEDs

hopefully in the near future the side effects of PEDs will be so minimal that it wont be banned anymore

I can't even imagine what it must feel like to be on peds. the basic stuff I get from vitamin shoppe be having ya boy feeling like the son of Zeus. Peds seem like overkill

I'm not buying this AD being better than Blake right now. The majority of Davis points come off of put backs and being a roll man.

Great potential, but not yet.

It was the morning of a 2010 playoff game, and one of the Nuggets had just smoked some nuggets. As the team practiced, the player was so high that Rex Chapman, a team executive at the time, had to pull him aside to get him to focus.

"Across all walks of life and in every profession, people smoke (marijuana). This is no secret, and pro sports are not exempt," said Chapman, who played 12 years in the NBA. "But employers deserve and pay for A-plus employees. There is a time and place for everything. As a member of a team, guys owe it to their teammates to put their best foot forward."

His defense is already elite for the position in the pros. Quake, LMA, Love. Nobody has the defensive awareness or impact AD does.

His offensive skillset needs work. But it's improving and growing.

yeah, he def has a lot of potential to be better but right now its love, lma, blake (i would put cousins over blake but he's more of a pf/c)

Blake got AD as far as offensive repertoire at this point

AD is miles better on defense than Blake will ever be though

Speaking of Rex Chapman, he tweeted back at my idiot friend once
Damn. My walls are covered w Ryan Rosenberg posters. "@chosenberg: @agioe @danlippert @rexchapman Rex, we're not really even fans of you."
