Why the H would they schedule the Lakers to play tonight knowing Kobe's status would be doubtful. Gonna be a friggin blow out. Schedule the Rockets or Warriors.

Horrible, more time machine commericals please.

Well, I wouldn't say horrible, but not nearly as good as the time machine commercials. The Griffin Force thing is not a terrible idea, but seems like they could have done more with it. Why bother hiring Jack McBrayer for the commercial and then not really have him do anything?

McBrayer always makes random cameos on Conan where he doesn't do anything. They probably didn't need to pay him a lot to get him for a Blake ad

Captain-save-a-Rose

The man's a multi-millionaire. He doesnt need saving. I'm in the business of fact telling, not attention chasing. I love my team, but i dont go off spitting ridiculously stupid comments.

Dudes wanted Rose to comeback ASAP and look like the current RG-3, a** juice, instead of waiting to comeback until he felt comfortable an take his team to the finals, caring waaaay too much about another man's actions.

Gabrielle Union sure as hell isn't goin to stop a damn thing this year.

quik is struggling tryna troll. Dude adds absolutely nothing to this thread.

I hope Doc has ended that flopping **** with the Clippers.

I laugh when folks still think the Heat are going to cruise to the Finals.

The team is older than ****.

They're going to fall flat on their faces this year; with a brand new squad coming in next year...pretty deserving for the worst fanbase in all of sports.

Can't wait to hate.

While we're on the subject, I dont think I've ever seen a fanbase claim a teams success as it if was their own as hard as the Miami Heat fans during these two titles. As Happy as was as a fan during the Spurs title reigns, I understand that I dont even deserve one percent of the credit for those, if you talk to people who claim to be fans of that team you would think they directly worked for the team or something. The Phrase "we" is used too strongly in relation to that team and its fanbase.

So I can't see "we" any more when talking about the team I like? :frown:

This.

Their fans are either older cats that throw the "we" term around in every other sentence, that I never heard a peep from before LeBron, or young bucks that are clearly 20 and under who act like the NBA just started in 2011-2012. :smh:

Rockets to start Beverley, Asik opening night

At Rockets practice on Tuesday, coach Kevin McHale said he had his starting lineup set, but wouldn’t confirm the starting five.

Chandler Parsons told the media a few minutes later that it wasn’t a surprise.

“Did he not tell you guys who is starting? I don’t know why it is a big surprise. It is the same guys as when the preseason ended,” Parsons said.

In the last two games of the preseason, the starting five were Dwight Howard, Omer Asik, Chandler Parsons, James Harden and Pat Beverley.

Some -- and I stress SOME -- Lakers fans also have this tendency. I really only find it annoying when people who became Lakers fans in 2000, or worse 2009, claim all 16 of the franchises titles like they were around for all of them.

Damn...gave up on Jeremy Lin already

couldn't be farther from the truth

they're bringing lin off the bench so he can run more PnR offense with the 2nd group,. him and harden overlap with lin not being a great shooter so it's a better mesh for lin to play the 6th man role. not to mention, beverly is a pest on defense and usually frustrates the hell out of opposing PGs. he embarrassed jrue holiday in a preseason game earlier

So many people thinking about Rose in this thread. The last time there was this much talk, it was his MVP season...

I'm 20. I've always rooted for my hometown teams. Threw wades shoulder injury and all. I was at the game he came back against the bobcats. I even thought we had a chance to beat the Celtics in the playoffs the year before the big 3. Pierce beat us at the buzzer and made that series a lot closer then it showed. But what am I suppose to do not cheer and root for them because they signed Bron and bosh? Hell no we Miami sport fans deserve this. All our teams suck. Dolphins choke everything away. Marlins suck. Hurricanes are finally turning it around. Of course were gonna exxagerate on the one team that's successful right now.

To put it Into perspective he also has a "help me I'm socially awkward" thread up..... LOL

So you're 20 and fall in one of the two categories I previously stated, I appreciate your honesty.
