"]Lance Stephenson's new signature move > _________

I read an article today about the possibility of Hill x Granger for Rondo. If that happens :wow:
[/quote]  that sounds like something a Pacer fan/Heat hater made up.

thats virtually a salary dump for one of the premier PGs in the league. Don't hold your breath on that one

That wheel idea would make things even more unbalanced than it already is in the nba. Imagine you're the next top college player...the orders are pretty much set for 30yrs and you see Utah or the bobcats have the top pick but next yr the lakers or heat get it...dudes will just use that to pick their destination. Like the yr a small market team that struggles gets a top pick watch all the top prospects "decide to continue their studies and stay in school". It also punishes teams who draft well in a way and if you make a mistake your team could literally be screwed for 6years. I hate that idea, they should just weight your teams record for the last 3 years or something. Do the record once you're eliminated for playoffs. Honestly every system has it's flaws but the wheel is pretty weak imo. Free agents already talk with one another and flock to certain destinations so teams that are forced to build through the draft have their whole process corrupted with that. Could you imagine if the heat had the #1 pick a year after winning the title? That's not fair at all and isn't good for the league. Plus how would trades work? Can teams still swap or include picks in deals as incentive? Or is it locked into place

"Lance falls on the court and acts like he's been shot. Guys will walk by and tell him to get up."

one of the dumber propositions i have ever saw... so instead of giving a team that has been horrible a higher chance to improve and could barely do so with high picks you want them to eventually gurantee having a mediocre draft?

Big Market gm's will also be able to REALLY make super teams considering they know every few years they are guaranteed a lottery pick.

That wheel is ******ed.

Why would the top draft choices WANT to play for winning teams? They're not going to see if the floor the way they want to...especially if that team has an established star at that position.

can't help but feel bad for BKN. No draft picks (ATL unprotected pick 2014, 2015) and it looks like they'll end up with one of the worst records in the L, enough to maybe get top 3 pick. That puts Atlanta in a great position to end up with a really good talent (Randle, Wiggins, Parker)

good thing NBA has realised the way draft works now sucks , NBA is pretty dissaponting the last 2 years since most teams lose on purpose and dont offer entertaiment but this wheel thing seems like it ll be in favor of big market teams

Because tanking will happen. NFL one player can't change everything (most of the time). NBA, one player can change everything

Teams still tank now. They may not always be rewarded with the #1 pick, but who's to say the team that tanked in previous years did not get the #1?

From twitter.com/NBAstats

FG% on Drives (*min. 5 Drives/Game)
1.@JLin7: 63.0%
2.@KingJames: 61.5%
3.@tonyparker: 57.3%
4.@dwyanewade: 56.9%
5.@mconley11: 56.8%

Surprising to see Lin and Conley on there. Pat Bev out with a fractured hand for 4-6 weeks, and Harden out tonight. Lin's first game back from back spasms and a knee contusion tonight against Dallas. Let's see if he'll continue the trend of putting decent-big numbers starting tonight without Harden in the lineup.

Per Lowe, the system is also set up so "every team would be guaranteed one top-six pick every five seasons, and at least one top-12 pick in every four-year span," basically ensuring that at no point in the "wheel" are teams forced to endure years of unfavorable draft spots
Awful idea. Spurs could draft Duncan in '97, win a few titles, then draft Yao in '02 just as Admiral is retiring. Or if they end up at #6, they could "reach" and take Amare

I'm not

He use to be pretty bad finishing around the rim and that was the most frustrating part about his game. He had all that speed and ability to get to the rim, but could never finish. Happy to say that he's one of the better players doing it now.

That lottery wheel system is never going to happen. that means college kids could basically pick where they want to go because they know where every team is picking every year. Wiggins would stay in school if the bucks had the first pick this year and the Lakers had it next year...
