Nothing actually. Black Migo may have taken your spot. You might be off the hook now.

Is he that far off though? I don't even like Colin but he had a point. He brought that up because of how much and how often they decided to boo D12. The logic being that why would you boo him when him leaving basically crippled your "rival"?

Its true to an extent. On any given night, Staples isn't filled with all, true Clippers fans. For one thing, there are a lot of season ticket packages, especially for the boxes, where the owners get Lakers, Clippers and Kings tickets. So, there are Lakers fans who just go to the Clippers games because they have the tickets. Then, there are always a lot of casual fans at both Lakers and Clippers games who are there just for the event and not because they're really into the NBA.

But to say there's no real Clippers fans is wrong, of course.

And let's not forget that there's a lot of people who claim to be Lakers fans that are really just Kobe fans, like a person I was driving behind today. Had a custom license plate frame that said "Laker Fan 4 Life" on the bottom and "KB 24" at the top. I'm willing to bet that by, "4 Life" that person meant starting around 2008 until Kobe retires or goes somewhere else.

Cheap tickets and building a connection with the team
Not liking the Laker players
Not being drawn by the "allure" of the Lakers but instead turned off by it
Find the underdog more appealing than the franchise that's everywhere and that everyone talks about
Favorite player

Then there are the "hipster" fans who "root" for the Clippers just to be different and let everyone know they're different
And now bandwagoners, of course.

Growing up in LA during the Lakers run of dominance, how does 1 become a clippers fan? I'm very curious

I'm not from LA.

But for me it was because of Quentin Richardson, I legit wanted to be him

When I was kid in Illinois I watched him beast at Whitney Young HS and play at DePaul. Then he got drafted by the Clippers and I started watching the Clippers because of him during that Era with him, D. Miles, Odom, Maggette and I've been a fan ever since.

i actually know a guy who tried to buy lakers season tickets in the early 2000s but they were sold out so he ended up getting clippers tickets and has gotten season tickets to clippers games ever since

from harden to most of the "best pf in the league"s to 90% of all top PGs it seems like no one plays defense anymore

It's troubling man, Harden and Love are both considered the best at their position yet are doormats on D. Even Durant isn't as great of a defender as he should be, I think he'll continue to improve though.
