We went over this before, Phil is great but I believe he's never coached without a first All-NBA selection and most of the time, he coached 2 or 3 All NBA players at a time

Who do you consider, as a coach, that is good? And out of those coaches, who hasn't coached All NBA talent?

PJ is the greatest coach in NBA history. He's phenomenal. He's the only coach to me who actually has an offense and a system. It's rare that you see him resort to typical pick and roll basketball that virtually every other coach for the past 20 years has resorted to. He almost always strips down his teams because he knows the value of having a mastermind. (The teams that he inherited in LA both times were more talented than the teams he won with) He then always has his players in the best possible positions for them to succeed, there by allowing them to maximize their talents. (I.E. you'll never see sasha vucaic playing pick and roll or having to make a play) His teams almost never get knocked off balance not only because of his demeanor, but because every single thing that the defense can do goes right into some sort of action from the triangle.

I absolutely love phil. GOAT.

Mike was Mike before Phil.

Shaq was Shaq before Phil.

Kobe was Kobe before and after Phil.
mike shaq and kobe have a total of 1 championship before and after phil

and that was with a prime dwade and pat riley who is a top 3 all time coach

Shaq went to a Finals without Phil.

Kobe won 5 playoff series without Phil

Mike won 3 series without Phil

Phil has one playoff series win without those guys.

the 01 lakers are the greatest team in nba history
Better than 72-10 Bulls? I respectfully disagree.
Think he means playoff team. They DEMOLISHED 4 50-60+ win teams.

Crushed.

And were a moronic mental mistake in OT away from sweeping a postseason.
i would say that the 72-10 bulls are the greatest in terms of consistency but that 01 lakers team (like shaq) is the most DOMINANT team of all time

personally i dont see any other team in nba history being able to stop shaq or beat the 01 lakers

No they were not. PJ maximizes talent. From the BJ Armstrong's to the Kobe Bryant's and Shaquille O'neal's.

Not even going to go into how successful they were before PJ got to them because that's obvious. However, just by watching them play you see a huge difference in their style of play under phil. A style of play that is much more conducive towards winning. Kobe and Mike went from playing screen and roll ball trying to create plays from the 3 point line, to catching and operating 15 feet from the basket. Big change in play that allows them to score closer to the basket, and makes it harder to double team them.

Furthermore, as I stated Phil Jackson never has the most talent, but rather he builds teams that perfectly fit around the stars that he inherits.

That was an insane playoffs, and Iverson played the game of his life. I do think the only way Heat can get that status is with a 4-peat(which a foolish 2011 meltdown may have potentially prevented).

So Melo is the same level of players as MJ?

I'm not understanding what you are saying

My point is those 3 great players were great players before and after Phil

Is there anything more frustrating than players committing unnecessary fouls at the end of games because they're bad at math?

Christ. That happens way too much.

LMA has just been at another level this year. He has consistently posted HUGE numbers against good teams this year.
