I don't know if Pau fits in with the Rockets any better than he does with the Lakers. Pau doesn't work well in an uptempo system like the Rockets run. But I guess it could be ok if he doesn't mind backing Dwight up.

mchale prefers not to have an uptempo offense, but those are the pieces he has. he rather have a traditional big you can dump it down to and can score in the post or kick out for three.

but nah, pau is always pushed away from the basket every time he tries to establish position even if he's right below the basket. Dude has no lift and i havent seen his left hook blocked this many times before. not to mention, he cant even set proper screens

The Rockets wouldn't try to fit Pau and Dwight together when they have hard evidence of how it works.

The Lakers basically started posting up Pau and having Dwight stand out of bounds underneath the basket

Only team i think that doesn't do it is L.a because of cap purposes..

Basically, being a reserve is no different than being a starter to me, espeically when the numbers are there. I'm sure the players themselves dont care that X guy is more popular than them.
