I look at being a better scorer as someone Who one on one if i need a score i'm gonna give it to them and know that he can easily score from anywhere on the floor. Lebron has worked his way into becoming a great scorer.. But as far as footwork, Positioning, and ability to create space even if they don't have a huge athletic advantage i take Melo.

It's nearly impossible to stop him his only downfall in percentage is that instead of using that focus every possesion he sometimes takes it light on the defense and bails them out by shooting a fader over two defenders.

With 5-6 years left of scoring 20-28ppg? Dude is gonna top 15-20 when he retires. Whether you like it or not.
haters gonna hate bro.saying bron is better scorer than melo is ridiculous.he is only good at driving to the rim.y all forgot lebrick.

someone said he was a better OFFENSIVE player. he is not, just a better scorer. lebron can create for others and put them in position to score and succeed

I think Lebron got a LOT better from an offensive standpoint. He doesnt get credit for his improved jumpshot. I'd still take Lebron over Melo from an offensive standpoint.

And yes i do believe Melo can average an efficient 20+ ppg for the next 5 years. He'll eventually be the #2 and his efficiency will go up.

Is melo really a better scorer or does his offensive game just look more fun to watch compared to lebron

Efficiency> over everything

Thats like saying iverson was a better scorer than shaq from 2000-03 just because he looked better getting his points

No, midrange jump shots and contested-late in the shot clock 3's are not more exciting than oops, big dunks, and late playoff heroics

Waiting for the NBA to fine the Spurs a quarter of a million dollars again for not playing the big three against the Warriors tonight.  Or, wait, does that rule only apply to games against the Heat?

Wait what.....

I jus want kobe to pass jordan on the scoring list at this point. He and rose need to go to phx and get revived

Lakers need to be tanking for next year's draft anyway. That 2 year contract extension was purely a business move for ticket and merchandise sales. Whether he can actually play a majority of those games is the question.

or KD who shoots a higher percentage from everywhere on the floor and is also a threat to drive, make a pass, or get to the ft line. This Carmelo is the best or most versatile scorer propaganda needs to stop

Almost everybody is out for the Bulls tonight.

...Welp...

Julius F. Wrek

they need to stop being shown on TV

this season has sucked for national games.

out of the 50 games shown, like 4 of them have been good.

pathetic. all these teams are so bad :x

Retire Kobe. I don't remember constantly hurt Kobe. Please leave while your legacy is already here. The league in good hands. 5 was good enough fella

I just don't understand how player X scores less points on worse efficiency than player Y in both the regular AND playoffs, and player X is considered the better scorer.

Bron was dropping 31 a night at 21 years old on great efficiency. Melo has never averaged 30 ever.

The dude averaged 35 on 51% shooting, 62 TS%, during the Cavs deep '09 playoff run. Cleveland faced two virtually top 10 defenses during that run. Melo has never came close to either of those averages in the playoffs.

When it comes to actually putting the ball through the hoop, Bron has always done that better.
