Nike Flyknit Air Max 2014

That's what I say. Beautiful looking shoe, just can't drop $225 on a pair of running shoes!! Prices are insane!!!

I've not heard of an NDC exclusive FlyknitMax since they came out.. hoping that's not true.. I didn't think the restock would be that soon though.. my gut tells me that these will be out at least one more time on NDC and maybe a few other stores will carry them..

Trust me when I say they're a garbage running shoe. Nike has better runners that are cheaper (having said that I don't rock with them for runners).

At $180, the Ultraboost is a better runner (and that's not saying much).

Crazy how much the FK AM and AM 2015 cost.

Shipped! I was planning on primarily using them for light running (currently in a pair of AM1 w/ 360 air) but you guys are saying no? Cons?

I don't think they are bad for light running, theres just better and cheaper options out there.

very heavy compared to other Flyknit..
yes, heavier compared to other Flykits but amazing cushion and lighter than regular Max shoes

I was running half and full marathons (and all training runs) with Lunar flyknits for a couple of years. Had to buy insert cushions from Dr. Scholes as I'm a bit older now and have years of knee wear and tear. When I first got the Flyknit Air Max when they were introduced it was a little awkward getting used to the extra heaviness of the shoe. But now I can't live without them. I find them a fantastic runner for long distance runs and they are quite durable. They seem to last twice as long as my Lunars ever did.

No shoe will be right for everyone. But these Flyknit Max are a godsend for some of us. Plus they look amazing in MC!

I run 3-5 miles 1-2X a week and just couldn't see myself running in these. However, I have a bad knee and flat feet. Just doesn't have the support I need. I prefer the Ultra Boost performance wise (looks wise these spank them)...too bad they have poor durability.

I also feel like these are tougher to clean then the other FK models.

I did. Didn't help. I have the Florida Gators and the Decepticon pair (see what I did there). They both have staining that JM and the washing machine won't get out.

AirMax are far from garbage to run in. But I wouldn't call them incredible, either. They aren't light and I've always found the breathability to be subpar. Those are my only real beefs with them and that's been true since at least 2000. Flyknit should address at least the breathability issues for me, maybe the weight, as well.

But I've put in 20000 miles in them over the years. Always comfortable, and I've never been hurt wearing them. If you are a casual runner who wants max cushioning to minimize joint impact I think it's a great option. And you can always find a good pair for close to 100 bucks new.

That being said, I've moved on and don't run in them anymore either. Heard great things about those Adidas from others as well. How do they run size wise relative to what I would wear in a Nike Air Max?

The full 360 unit on my AM1 has provided great cushion for me (flat footed) so hoping these work out the same. I feel like the FKs HAVE to be same or lighter than my 90s! Lol Just material wise.

These are what I'm running in currently:
