Nah bro that's exactly how you should wear them. Once I manage to get a pair they are becoming my new everyday kicks. While all shoes are meant to be worn, these are even more so
unless you skate in them or perform some strenuous activities excessively not much of the paint is going to come off
yes ppl have done it but if you do it wrong you can mess up the entire shoe.
People have recommended Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or 70% isopropyl alcohol. Both will be a much slower process, but less chance of immediate damage. The thing about acetone, you don't know what type of strength people are using. If someone says they're using acetone, it could be a dilute solution.

While I would love for some of the paint to come off naturally, I think the shoes are beautiful on their own so if they remain pure black or white it's all good with me. I unDSed my black pair today and surprisingly the shoes got a compliment from a girl so yea i think they're dope on their own.
that's cool. I think over the time span of years some of the paint will start to come off. it wont happen overnight though

Yeah, actually a very comfortable skate shoe. I think I now understand why the shoe was made with such soft leather and very flexible/easily creased. They feel great skating because the shoe is so malleable.
I like to remind myself they're just shoes and use 'em like I always have. I take care of some and I'm weird about the boxes but I love finding good skate shoes and these look cool as hell.
