Hi all. I'm not a fan of fake shoes especially when they're rare. I know I can't stop it completely but I hope to minimise it. These shoes are rare and expensive. Dont let fakes ruin their reputation. I have several pairs in difference colours and can spot the difference so you know not to purchase them if not right. The flag on the tongue must be small and not larger where it almost takes up the whole tongue. The mesh must not have larger holes where you can see the white material underneath. It must be a sports red and not solar red with a USA flag. The material all around outside must be rubber material type and not vinyl plastic and shiny. The tongue must not be thick. The inside sole must be shiny ish where it looks like fur and not a plain cotton material where it attracts lint. Hope this helps. P.s premiumkickz on instagram and sites have been selling fakes and ripping people off. Do not buy from them. They charge more than retail price and then when questioned regarding if they're fake, they do not respond about it and just keep lowering the price.
 
Its pretty obvious your new to the game.. Fake kicks have ALWAYS been around man, you or anyone else is gonna stop them just like they are never gonna stop guns or drugs.. I agree I hate the fakes too but they are here to stay... The only thing you can really do is do your HW on them so you know what to look out for.. These guys are good these days.

As long as there are rare and limited shoes people are willing to pay WAY over inflated prices for.... there will be bootlegs of them.
 
biggest thing to took look for is the oversized usa flags. They shouldnt be all the way accross the tongue
 
an easy way to tell is the mesh used, as the fake ones use the normal hypefuse mesh, while the USA hyperfuse ones use a tigher mesh.

plus the material on the overall shoe is different too, not as stiff as the regualr hyperfuse (the USA ones are more soft)
 
Hi Guys, Im new to this and was wondering if you could clarify if this item which i have purchased via paypal from a seller located in the US is a fake or not. iv checked his feedback and rare sneakers he sells and he claims that they are genuine. I am protected via PayPal however waiting for the shoes to arrive yet.

what do you guys think? any help would be appreciated.

even though it's just one picture, the giveaway is the mesh used on the hyperfuse am90s.

the authentic ones use a tigher/softer mesh (only found on the independence day pack ones), whereas the fakes try to imitate the generic hyperfuse mesh and material of the body of the shoe.

but since you already bought them, post some more pictures in here of the pair you receive to confirm.

I bought a pair of Air Max 90 Independence Day red on eBay last week and just got them. On the box it says air max90 hyp prm. But on some I've seen it say qs instead of prm. Which one is the real one?

Thanks means a lot. I didn't know whether they made this shoe in half sizes, that's why I was a little sceptical
 
^ whoever told you that is correct.

The Independence Day pack only came in 3 colors (red, white, and blue/navy)

The fakes come in that color you shown there, as well as a green, and a sky blue.
 
I posted these on another thread but saw this thread.  Can you help me out on these AM90 Hyp Independence Days?  Just bought them and now I am skeptical.  Haven't received them yet so if you need more pics.  Comes with replacement box as seen in pictures.  Thanks a lot.

mesh and tongue is off. plus the wrong material is used on the body of the shoe (real ones have a more lush and softer material, which is hard to explain unless you actually owned/held a pair).
