Charting =\= album sales...I WANT Bieb to win, but Adele is about 1.5 on preorders...Bieb may hit 1 mil in 2 weeks...idk
 
If anything his fan base has grown, he never had a #1 hit til this year, Purpose will be his biggest selling album

I mean not beating Adele and 1D isn't a loss, Adele might be the biggest artist on the planet

JB VS. 1D: PREORDER BATTLE HEATS UP

Def Jam’s Justin Bieber appears to be gaining in preorders on SYCO/Columbia’s One Direction as the two superstar acts prepare to begin battling for chart supremacy following their 11/13 release.

1D has been in preorder for considerably longer, and Bieber has begun picking up steam in the contest, though 1D continues to lead by more than 50%. Could we see a split chart, with Bieber’s massive streams giving him a victory on the SPS side while 1D wins on album sales?

All eyes are on Bieber manager Scooter Braun to see what last-minute marketing ploy he can conjure to push his artist over the top. What’s the status of the hypothetical Bieber ticket bundle that was previously discussed? Stay tuned.
