Haven't been on these forums in quite some time. Hope everyone has been well and enjoying the game, though much has changed lately..

Anyone from this area have plans on going up to NYC for Sneaker Con on Saturday, November 23rd?

I will probably try to be a vendor at this event, so if anyone is looking to do the same, carpool, just go to NYC to experience, do your own thing for the day, etc., feel free to contact me to get some more details.

Hmmm, right after Thanksgiving it is going to be a madhouse.

i have always wanted to go to sneaker con but have never been able to. Im trying to go on the 23rd in nyc but not sure if its worth it. Are there good deals?  I feel like some people may just try and rob or steal?

Thanks

Thanks looks insane. Does everyone need a ticket to get in?
No problem man. They "said" they would sell tickets at the door and they also had presale tickets online. SO many people got their tickets before I heard they stopped selling them at the door for a few hours. It was crazy, but I'd definitely recommend getting your ticket beforehand.

I would advise getting your ticket beforehand as well. They never pre-sold tickets in years past, from what I remember. For a consumer, it guarantees your entry, and for Sneaker Con, it helps judges a head count. I went to an event in NY before, before the pre-sale tickets, and lines were LONG!! Problem is, even if you pre-order your ticket, you may still have to wait in line because there is a capacity maximum and fire code restrictions they must abide by.

For robbery, *******, and BS, na. Too many people to run a way, and majority of people don't condone foolishness, so they're more inclined to help out in a situation. Mad variety in sneakers and prices, gives you an opportunity to network, meet new people, see stuff you never have before, etc. I highly recommend going bro.
