If PEDs were linked to a star athlete, which one would be the most devastating?

Bolt hands down.

Compared to other sports sprinting has next to no technique involved so the effects of roids are more pronounced.

If Swimming/Phelps was a year round thing, it would be a HUGE deal.

No one could be bigger than Lance and everyone basically knew there was suspicion but still. like a perfect storm to be a MONSTER story.

edit: and i put the shirtless pic of ronaldo cuz part of what makes him so special to fans is his amazing build and physique, especially for a soccer player. people would be devastated that it isn't legit.

It's like if this thread were on a Spanish version of NT and nobody mentioned Adrian Peterson, and someone posted a pic of him.

Obviously soccer brolic and NFL brolic are 2 diff levels tho but u get it.
 
I think it's hard to say mayweather would leave people the most devastated.

A lot of people really dislike/hate dude and would be happy to find out he was a cheat this whole time.

I think the criteria for leaving people devastated is extremely popular and legendary to their respective sport...

But also beloved and idolized.

griffey would be really devastating... with so many of the superstar players who played in the same era as him getting busted PED's, he was always the one big named super star that everyone respected for being clean. that would be a sucker punch to the gut if that were to ever happen :lol:
