I hope he gets traded tonight.. if not

I don't want to hear about this the rest of the season, and in the end we receive nothing... and he just walks.

Kind of feel that way too.

And all we've heard about this draft is how deep it is and such and then you look at all the mocks and when it comes down to the Wolves turn to pick and the choices from the mocks are....well, very underwhelming. Just another sidenote in the luck/mismangement of htis franchise. The one year in awhile that they decide to be fringe competitors and now they missed all of that talent on the top end of the draft. :smh:

's for this

and Zach LaVine's reaction to being drafted by us has me feeling a lot sketchy about the kid.. his agent says he's excited to be here, but that reaction and saying "**** me" clearly on TV says otherwise... Let's see him explain it at the players news conference, someones going to ask about that.

Yeah, man. What can you do about those reactions? Want to be here or not...It's like...How did Minnesota come to this? *cues ry for the bullet points*

I remember UCLA because I'm in Pac-12 country, but I remember nothing about Lavine. I guess I didn't watch intently enough. However, everything I'm hearing is good?...That's a question because he seems like the high ceiling/high reward type, but with a franchise in flux like Minnesota, is he worth it?

I seriously feel at this point that Flip 'oughta roll with Love and risk getting nothing if he leaves and see if they can make a semi-run next year in hopes that the 1 MIL they just received (laughable) goes towards Loves re-up contract.

Ay chingcou munieta aberrita!!

Hmm maybe I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

“No, man, I’m completely ecstatic,” LaVine said from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in a conference call with Twin Cities reporters. “I can’t be more happy. I’m a very emotional person. I might have uttered something completely wrong, but I put my head down, thanked God, kissed my mom, kissed my dad. I can’t believe this is happening to me right now. I’m going full-fledged, ready to become a Timberwolf.”

At this point, he's looking more and more like Kahn every day.

We should offer them a first round pick to make them keep David Lee, he's terrible.

Another ho-hum draft night :\

I don't have a real problem with the Lavine pick just because (as we know) you are in no-man's land at that draft spot. Who knows really.

Although if the Wolves somehow acquire Klay then well he plays this kid's spot (not like he is expected to get much burn anyway).

"Sometimes you have to try to hit a home run," Saunders said at a press conference shortly after the pick. "Some players that are ready-made, they're only going to be doubles hitters. This guy has the opportunity to be a homerun player with development."

"One need we did have is the ability for somebody to create, get to the basket, do things in the open floor," Saunders said. "He's a multi-position player, he can play [shooting guard], he can play some [point guard]. Athletically, he's the best athlete in the draft. He has great speed."

One criticism of LaVine's only college season, however, is his NCAA tournament performance. In three March Madness games, LaVine shot 3-for-15 and 0-for-8 at the free throw line. He scored just 8 points in 57 minutes for the Bruins between the three games.

In 37 regular season games, he shot 44.1 percent from the field and he made 37.5 percent of his 3-pointers. He had a 66:42 assist-to-turnover ratio in his one collegiate season, and Saunders said he envisions LaVine playing at shooting guard in the NBA, and also "some" point guard. Saunders said he can take some of the pressure of Ricky Rubio in ballhandling.

The good news I think with this kid, Glenn Robinson, and Shabazz etc is that Flip is 10 times more likely to give young players minutes than Adelman ever was.

At some point this franchise has to hit on something in the draft. I'm not even talking a great player....just a solid average player.

Love the GR3 and Markel Brown picks in the second-round. The former presents tremendous value for Minny.

Markel Brown was traded to the Nets.

I don't mind GRIII, but I would have preferred Tim Hardaway Jr. last year.

Press conference just started on Timberwolves.com.

Last one I watched was in 2010  and Nemanja Bejilica, Lazar Hayward and Wes Johnson were there. I can sit here today and say that wasn't ******* worth it, but go nuts if anyone wants to.

Maybe I'll do the same and I really shouldn't care about this... but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  I mean these kids get the chance of a lifetime -- it's just crazy to me that one could be picky of team/location.  Maybe I'm just oversensitive

That's too bad. I know Brown's a streaky shooter and undersized, but he's got hops and rebounds well for a small 2-guard. Kind of like Beal in that sense.

Yeah I have no clue who the kid is bt hope he does well. Goodbye JJ I guess? If so what doea Dallas have that we would want? Looks limt they want to get most of the championship run guys

That's what I'm thinking. I don't think the cavs will pass up the chance of having a big three of Irving , love, and lebron for a prospect.

The Cavaliers have opened talks by offering guard Dion Waiters, forward Anthony Bennett and a first-round pick to the Timberwolves in exchange for Love, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

 :smh:

LMAO, with that offer, I'd rather Love walk and atleast try and make the playoffs this year

Hear him get boo'd every night.

I'd prefer to trade Wiggins and Bennet or Wiggins and a 1st.
