The Minnesota Timberwolves Thread: Timberwolves, Anthony Bennett part ways

Watching that game last night had me flashing back to the last two years when they kept giving away big leads from fast starts. They weather each and every comeback though and when Orlando finally took the lead, they still pulled it off in the end.

Statline for the starters was nice and Cunningham had a great game. Automatic midrange last night. Brewer's D stood out as well.

1-0. :pimp:

Smashed 'em!

That was fun. Double doubles from Pek, Rubio and Love. Great start. Hopefully Turiaf is ok.

We undefeated like dat Boy Barack!

Love's tendency to lean into wild, leaping defenders is pretty invaluable. He had at least three fouls forced off just that, and it's essentially a high probability of getting three points and still leaving the window open for a successful attempt. Until they change that rule, abuse it.

Rubio was taking too many shots today. I'm trying to decide if I'd rather him shoot a wide open jumpshot or a better shooter attempt one with a defender draped all over him.

3-0.

Quick trip to Cleveland who haven't really cemented who they exactly are going to be yet this year. Win over Brooklyn, acceptable loss to Indiana, but a bad loss to Charlotte.

Good game Guys,

Not going to lie im enjoying watching you guys at work this season,

Could be a problem in the West if you stay healthy

So this is what a healthy Wolves team looks like? Kevin Martin certainly helps though. The team basketball they're playing is the best kind of basketball to watch. They've all bought in and know their roles. Consistent double-doubles from 3 starters would be amazing and looks to be a likely scenario when things are clicking. Just awesome.

They need to keep this thing rolling tonight. Jump over all these teams still trying to figure out their identities this early going.

Come on baby... let's get Cleveland tonight

Ah well. Lets keep it rolling and beat a quality team on Wednesday.

Down 49-72 late in the third.... what a freaking comeback. Thought it was destined to be completed, as that shot couldn't have looked more familiar.

Dud.

I thought bot teams sucked it up tonight, but the difference was the missed layups, panicky turnovers after good plays and then Klay Thompson in the 4th quarter. Bench didn't show up either, so just one of those nights. Honorable mention to Iggy. That dude is everywhere. He's good.

I think this sums it up pretty well.  We just looked way outta rhythm...  Just one of those nights.

Didn't catch the game, I don't have FSN or league pass but I followed for some of it.

Damn!  Would have been real nice to take 2 straight in LA...

Couldn't believe Love missed that putback. Oh well.

And Love to N.Y. or L.A. is a pipe dream at this point in my opinion. Lakers suck and N.Y. will again soon too. Staying in Minnesota will actually be more appealing.

Game in about 40 minutes vs. Cleveland... Time to play.

Cavs are 0-5 on the road. There's no excuse for losing this game. I would love to see Adelman mix up backups and starters rather than just going five from the bench at a time.

Bennett is putting his apron on as we speak.
