The Minnesota Timberwolves Thread: Timberwolves, Anthony Bennett part ways

A legit back up PG and a defensive Center. The top picks are bigs and that kid in China right?

SI's Chris Mannix has this current Big Board:

1. Jahlil Okafor, C
2. Karl-Anthony Towns, C
3. Emmanuel Mudiay, PG
4. D'Angelo Russell, G
5. Stanley Johnson, SF
6. Kristaps Porzingis, PF
7. Mario Hezonja, SG
8. Justise Winslow, SF
9. Willie Cauley-Stein, C
10. Frank Kaminsky, C

That Pokemon pic if Flip is coming true. All these young players hope it result in some damn winning.

7 active players, overtime, on the road...Impressive.

Wiggins played well, LaVine was lights out from 3 and I like what Kilpatrick gave out there. Good stuff. :pimp:

I feel like Jose Caledorn might come to the team and let LaVine play the two? Plus I'd like to see Jose and Rubio out there together.

News on Bennett?

I want towns this year in the draft...

Lavine looked real comfortable out there against Utah. Still would like to see him at the 2 tho

He's a 2, for sure. He turns the ball over way to much and doesn't have great decision making off the dribble.

I like what he can do though. His shooting touch is beautiful.

- In the month of February, the Timberwolves gave up significantly fewer points than they had all season: 99.8 Opponent PPG. This month: 107.2 Opponent PPG.

- How has Justin Hamilton missed four games and attended the games ... with a migraine? Has anybody here had a migraine?

- LaVine has made more three-pointers through the first 12 games of March (18) than he did in all 41 games played in December, January and February (16).

I use to suffer from chronic migranes.

the first hit m, couldn't move felt like there was some organism trying burrow through my brain and crawl out the back of my eye socket.

I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. I vomited everywhere. was out of commission for a couple days.

so yeah you could miss four games with migraines.

I don't know why Kmart is out but I'm glad, dude is killing Wiggins ROY campaign. Not sure what it is but Wiggins doesn't play as well with him around...

Not to mention mirotic is balling right now...

I know, I get them. Your symptoms are mine - so how is Justin Hamilton in a suit on the bench watching the games with a migraine? (That's what I was trying to get across)

This is how it works now:

Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda 1m
Kevin Martin said he'll see how his hamstrings feels when he awakes from afternoon nap but didn't sound confident he'll play tonight.

18 times in the NBA lottery.
10 times moved down from their position.
0 times moved up from their position.

Probably my favorite set of stats of all the putrid ones in the history of this franchise.

I figured out the combined W-L records of Orlando, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York, Minnesota's remaining opponents to figure out who had the easiest and hardest schedules left as we're in single-digit remaining games:

Orlando's remaining opponents: 268-320 (.456 winning percentage)

New York's remaining opponents: 265-324 (.450 winning percentage)

Los Angeles' remaining opponents: 326-335 (.492 winning percentage)

Philadelphia's remaining opponents: 242-274 (.469 winning percentage)

Minnesota's remaining opponents: 301-286 (.513 winning percentage)

:smokin

The Lakers have more games to play than others, which is why their opponents' records look like an outlier compared to the rest.

If we fall out of the top 2 picks I'll be livid.

If we don't get a big, we need someone who can shoot.
