Next Nike Basketball Signature Line

Just curious to who ya'll think will be the next player will be to get their own shoe? Obviously Kobe, Lebron, and KD dominating the nike shoe game now, but who you guys see coming next? And no I'm not forgetting MJ, I'm concerned with NIke Basketball here.  
 
James Harden is rumored to be debuting his signature shoe on opening night, not sure whether or not its with Nike or another brand.
 
i actually started this thread because i was thinking he would be a good fit, i could definitely see that. 
 
I guess it could also be Kyrie or Paul George. And maybe Steph

Not sure George is marketable enough to get his own shoe before Irving.

And I remember reading sneakernews article about kyrie irving's hyperdunk pe that released awhile back was a test run to see if his shoe would sell enough to warrant a signature line.

Agree with bigj tho about paul George. Not sure about him.

Honestly wiggins is the next super hyped prospect, near the level of LeBron James. We've never seen a prospect get hyped like this, and last time was LeBron James. Wiggins has youtube and his mixtape making his stock soar as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if Nike (if they can sign him) gives him a shoe deal like LeBron James, once Wiggins get drafted.
 
Agreed. If wiggins goes to the dark side then he's definitely getting a shoe. Could fill Kobe's void since he's at the end of his career.
 
yeah i agree with Kyrie and Wiggins for sure, i think Kyrie def. has the stuff to get his own shoe. How did his PE do? im not a fan of the hyperdunk so i wasn't feeling it but im just one person obviously. You guys know how successful it was?
 
I haven't heard much chatter about the pe to be honest.
People just don't go crazy over hyperdunks very often. Not Irvin's fault. Hopefully he gets a shoe. They already marketing uncle drew which was cool.
 
Not sure about how those hyperdunks were but I know that they don't really generate any hype. Well respected in a performance aspect but is it versatile enough where your average joe will buy it because of the name? eh not really. I don't think it was Kyrie's fault tho, its just the hyperdunk line in general. I do think that Kyrie has all the aspects u would want in a person to have a signature line with marketability, the ability to generate highlights, a personality. The only thing I think is missing is success. Because obviously with LeBron, Kobe, and Durant you associate them with their team success and are labeled as winners. If Wiggins can live up to expectations, you can bet he's going to have his own signature shoe and replace kobe in that big 3 of nike, once kobe retires.

agreed, it sucks to hear Kobe and "replaced" in the same sentence...gonna be sad day when he retires for me....

Definitely, Growing up watching kobe, basically he was my Michael Jordan, and when that day he retires is gunna be pretty sad.
 
Now that the season has started, Carter-Williams has become a contender to me.

I know it is early, but if homeboy continues playing like this, he got ROY on lock. And Nike should start marketing him as the second coming of Penny
 
Kobe got 2 more signature shoes tops. Kobe 9 for sure. DEFINITE MAYBE FOR KOBE 10.
