Yeah, he's spot on. ShoePalace also has physical stores and is a legit retailer. I would recommend following them on Twitter if you have one, sometimes they will post links for good deals.

I haven't been able to get their website to load for days and I have always had problems getting their site to load since day 1. Anyone know any tricks to getting the page to load? I know it isn't because of high traffic because it wont even load now on a friday afternoon.

You can always delete browser history and what not. I always just have one of their pages in my favorites. In the morning you can run into some problems, seems to take longer to add to cart and checkout.
I always try to use someone else. They are one of my last resorts. They are notorious for overselling and canceling orders. However, ordered the Dee Brown Pumps there last week with no problem except slow checkout time.
