The flightplate system even the one used on the 28s have been made of Pebax Material. I've never hear of anyone with Pebax issues on football or soccer cleats, so its probably more durable than the carbon fiber used on shoes. Idk about automotive quality carbon fiber, but I bet its probably not flexible enough to provide a human with enough flexibility needed for basketball related movement.

I feel like I'm a spokesman for these lol. I will say these are still fire. In terms of looks and comparing to other signature shoes from Lebron, these look better than the Lebron 11. Lebron line failed when they removed the visible Max Air/Zoom Air bag, and that lower cuts looks a little funny to me. I still copped but those who advocate that design over these is sleep. KD's were pretty dope this year, but they look in all honesty like some $90 Nike Basketball sneakers with a KD logo on them. Kobe 9's were fire, can't even lie, and I don't own ANY Kobe's lol so not much to compare to there. So basically how do these disappoint alot of you? I think you guys want another AJ 3 or AJ 11 so bad it makes many blind to new ideas and styles.

Performance design wise I'd say they've done ok with these last couple

^trentbg If you look at the tech specs of the Jordan 28 you will see that the plate that covers the Zoom is made of pebax. Only the midfoot shank is made of carbon fiber an the little one on the lateral side. I repeat the FLIGHTPLATE system has always been made of Pebax material.

Lol.............another year, another Jordan design!! And the haters come out to play!! Seriously though, I'm really feelin' these!! I'm sure they will be performance BEASTS on the court and that what matters 1st and foremost!! I might be in the minority for liking the design, but oh well!!! Can't wait to see more colorways!! Definite cop for me!!!

Sure whatever, replacing the midfoot plate with TPU is just making them look even cheaper than they are. But lets see what other upper prints they can bring.

...Which is why, for me, the XX9 is, tech-wise, essentially the Super.Fly 2 with a woven upper.
