Official Air Jordan XX9 post! 1st two released 9/6/14! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

My gym reds should be here on Wednesday. Anybody know where I can find the shirts that they dropped online???

Played in my Team Oranges today. Upper fits great and breaks in almost immediately. Midsole and cushioning start out firm and felt much better after 90 min of playing. Initially I could feel the jumpman at the toes on the sole, which was a little distracting. Went away after about 30 min of run. Forefoot zoom is firm to start and definitely less bouncy and pronounced than the XX8s. Took a little getting used to. Still feels nice but I miss the bounce from the XX8s. Maybe with more break in it will get bouncier. Heel cushion starts out firm but softens up and is actually pretty nice. I'd still rather have zoom, but this heel set up feels very close to zoom. I'm pleasantly surprise and impressed it works as well as it does. Hoping with a couple more runs it breaks in a little more and gets better. Traction was great for me. Heel to toe transition is VERY smooth. Much better than the XX8s, which I find a little slappy at times. The tendril appears to really make a difference. Ventilation is fine on these. That's it for now...

An Air Jordan without air. That's like going to Hooters and being served by a flat chested waitress

good info, thanks for sharing

Good looks taking over the thread @iJapino

Nothing irks me more than when dudes makes threads like this, don't update it as necessary and then go ghost.

BTW, the Riverwalk and Blackout pics need to switched, as well as the Infrared and Black/White pics.

KB9 highs or lows? I'm a big fan of low tops and Kobe's. I have both high and lows and they are fantastic , as they have a different personality on court. Lunarlon feels great and not mushy, very responsive. It can bottom out over time though. But the xx9's upper are the best I've ever felt on a shoe period! The woven upper is sensational and really needs to be tried on, as it feels like a sock/flyknit/broken in leather all in one from first wear. The cushioning is less pronounced than the xx8's but still A1. The unlocked zoom is what it was meant to feel like! You can't go wrong with either bro. Both have cutthroat traction, cushion, and support. The KB9 EM's are the best for value though, as the $225 price point may be high for many.

Repped. Thanks. Yeah I have the KB 9 Em and I love them. Lows just feel a lot better. I have been hearing a lot of good things in regards to the xx8 and xx9 so I wanted to check in and ask around.

The xx8 se's have many great deal online. They play different than the xx9's as the forefoot zoom protrudes through the outsole a couple millimeters, so it feels like the front of your shoe is higher than the rest when in action. It def have more bounce than the xx9's. The xx9's have a more balanced feel and a fluid heel to toe transition than the xx8's. I just like to have the latest tech and can care less about hype. The woven upper are the new grails!

Did a 180 on this shoe.  The pic with the sweats definitely changed my mind on them.  Purchased the shoe off of ISS and don't regret it one bit.  Shoe was true to size for me.  I felt like the XX8 SE was a tad bit tighter around your foot compared to the XX9 but both are still comfortable.  Based on the earlier comments, I expected the material to be rough but that was not the case.  It is textured but not as rough as the Brillo pad, as some had mentioned.  All in all, I think I might be purchasing more XX9's if the color scheme is nice.

This. Did you feel like the cushioning setup was better than the xx8? The weave is the best upper I've felt on a shoe and with the process they use to make the weave, the designs and color scheme possibilities are endless.
