Official Air Jordan XX9 post! 1st two released 9/6/14! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

It's honestly just the price with these XX9's. I love the model and a couple of the colorways, but even with the discounts and price cuts it's just too much for a pair.
 
I don´t know if this is news to you guys or not, but Eastbay´s 20% off deal today works on the XX9´s. I was pretty pumped, but now I have strong temptations to deal with lol. Price is still high, but down to @$188.00!

Exactly and I understand it's their flagship model and if it were priced similarly to a shoe like the KD it wouldn't look as important or as good especially when Lebrons would still be going for $200. But damn $225 is so overkill. Same thing with Kobe's. Slash both shoes down to $150 and I'll cop a pair. I can tell by the way they feel that they would be egregiously comfortable. I'll just wait until summer and head down to the AC outlets and scoop a pair for what will probably be $150ish.

Got the TO's and couldn't be happier with them, so comfortable. I would like to pick up the blackouts or infrareds but will also wait on a sale...hopefully. This 20% ain't so bad though
 
Finally picked up my first pair of XX9s

Originally wanted the team orange colorway but I slept on those too long and missed the restock on ndc last week so I got the blackouts like a day before @airsully23 posted that 20% off code

.. but I can't wait to try them out. The flight weave upper is dope. This is how I thought the Kobe 9 elite was gonna be but i guess the flyknit alone isn't strong enough for the rigors of basketball. Even this flight weave material has the potential to rip from the YouTube videos I've seen, but it still seems a lot stronger than just flyknit. After trying these on and walking around, the heel to toe transition feels really smooth and the lack of heel zoom doesn't bother me personally. It feels like the phylon in the heel is softer than normal. But for anyone who had the xx8s was the forefoot zoom more responsive than the xx9s forefoot zoom? I feel like I can barely feel the zoom on these.
 
@Shammgod  the XX8 felt more responsive up front mainly because the zoom bag protruded a lot more.  To limit the popping issues on these XX9s, it is recessed a bit so it doesn't stick out that much and take as much force when landing.  You don't feel it as much walking around, but playing in them I found it to be great.  Not quite XX8 amazing, but still great.

Bit the bullet with the 20%, 200 shipped, but I've seen my size 10.5 end in 125, and copped a pair for 150 shipped thru paypal invoice via ebay.(bred color) Worth maybe 180 tax total etc. I'd rather grab the xx8s and just put an insole in em in that 180+ range persoanlly

the forefoot takes a getting use to. not as bouncy, but you can still feel it once you start running in them. 
 
^^^ supremely comfortable. the upper is the most unique feature IMO. my fav basketball shoe since the zomm bb, which is saying a lot for me.
