Official Air Jordan XX9 post! 1st two released 9/6/14! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

Are they narrow?
I tried them on at Niketown. I went TTS and I felt it was narrow, I have wide feet though. When I get a pair, I'm going to get half size up.

But even though they were narrow, these might be the most comfortable basketball shoes I've ever worn.

Can't go wrong at that price!

I like them. I really wish the Jumpman branding was a lot smaller. I didn't say go away but I want the design of the shoe to shine not the fact it's a Jordan. Imo, I feel like the BHM was the best Colorway. I'm tired of the elephant print or giant Jumpman designs and didn't like the black/red pattern.

Just got my first pair of XX9 in the mail this morning. I know throughout the thread I have been skeptical about the performance of the shoe and the lack of heel cushioning, especially on such an expensive shoe. My last shoe without heel cushion killed me (Hyperfuse 2012). I swore after those shoes that never again would I get a shoe without some type of active heel cushion, be it zoom, air, or at the least lunar.

My first impressions after initial hoop session- WOW. Very nice. Did not notice the lack of heel cushion, good cushioning from the phylon. Zoom forefoot is amazing, and that is saying alot, I didnt like the XX8 much, mostly because of how high off the ground they were. These are greatly improved with the recessed zoom bag.

These have a new spot in my rotation. I almost feel bad about bashing the lack of heel cushioning before. Great hoop shoe. The fit is amazing, the upper works very well to envelope your foot and give dynamic support.

BHMs look great on court. I think if they focused on the aesthetic more (mainly throwing shade on the elephant print and giant Jumpman), lowered the price to $200 and advertised more, here could be the #1 balling shoe. It's just so weird that the Retros get all the shine while the newest signature are limited, high priced and hardly marketed.

I think if these would have had the XX8 SE price of $150 youd see a lot more pairs off the shelves. $225 is such a reach.

They chaged $225 or $250 for XX8 right (cant remember) but then you get the SE at $150 with the same tech as the shrouded pair. SEs sold very well despite zoom bags popping.

I do agree about the crappy elephant, the jumpman i can deal with i guess, i think the BHMs have the best sized jumpman though. As for as the upper patterns other than EP i can deal with to make the shoes diff.

If/When these start hitting discounts sub $175 i can see myself grabbing a pair as a hoop shoe (blackout, bhm, blk/orange)

Cuz the retro is their cash cow. It barely costs them anything, and makes them millions. No need for new technology, development, research, design, nothing. Just make the same shxx again, change a detail or two, raise the price, and mass produce. Cha ching.

I can't hate. But establish new legacies. That's what got you here to this point. Your goal shouldn't be to drive customers to your nostalgia product but the new one. But I guess it's okay since you're charging the same for the old one as the new one or in some cases more than the new one (Jordan$ >> Kyrie 1, KD 7 and are $10 less than Lebrons).
