Official Air Jordan XX9 post! 1st two released 9/6/14! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

It's a shame because this is the best silouhette on a Jordan signature since the XX3 and they're missing left and right.

Thought they are starting to grow on me simply because I'm really interested in a pair for hooping and so I have to just bite the bullet on one of these.

Highly recommended for hoop and I definitely agree.  The template is great here and they could do so much more. 
 
I think an id option would be a success, the price tag would be a little high but still .. they're too good on court to be overlooked.

hypothetically, if it were at all possible, I'd assume that they'd give almost zero flexibility.. probably variations of the existing patterns, I'd even be happy with the YOTG option. I feel like jordan brand is saving the real potential of performance woven for the AJ30. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a few "defining moments".. listen to me daydreaming. The possibilities are endless.

After the Photo Reels, it's possible. It really comes down to cost.

The shoe already "costs" $225. An iD option of that magnitude would be prohibitively expensive for a Nike shoe. The time to create the iD would probably take a long time to create as well.

It would just be nice to work with the TO/Giant Jumpman, Elephant Print, BHM and Bred patterns to develop our own takes. But I just don't see it happening. We didn't even get iD options for the Kobe/Lebron/KD elites last year (besides the FK lows with limited options).

Absolutely agree, the price hike would be a bad look.

The technology is obviously in place for photo realism, I just think giving the average consumer the ability to upload any image of from their cellphone photo album or Google search is a bad idea, like the ZX Flux it can get pretty corny.. if I'm Jordan Brand, I don't want a photo of a new born baby or Kermit the frog woven into my flagship performance sneaker.

I think preset images would be a good start.. for example "Last Shot", "First Championship", "Free Throw Line" etc..

Or they can just release PE's.
 
Ok so I got my team orange's yesterday and got free 2 day shipping :smokin . They look great but I don't think they are as good or as comfy as the XX8 shrouded. I only tried them on around the house, but I'll put them on the court tonight. But they don't feel as comfy as the XX8's. :rolleyes

The comfort on the XX8 shrouded is impressive and tough to beat.  I think you'll like the upper on these though.  The zoom you feel more in the XX8 because they recessed it a bit with the XX9 to avoid the popping issues.  The trade off though is that you get a little bit better court feel with the XX9, at least in my experience

Seriously, if there's any season to give the man his own version it's definitely this one.

Perhaps an MVP colorway?
 
Still wish the all white with blue jumpman that were rumored with the GOF pack had dropped.

Would also like to see a grey/black drop. Much bigger fan of the large side jumpman and not the elephant print.
 
My gym red OWNITs came in yesterday.
Got a 12 but need a 12.5. Going to hit up our Nike store and see if they have a 12.5 I can exchange for.
NT mobile won't let me post pics for some reason. Anybody else having this issue?
