Official Air Jordan XX9 post! 1st two released 9/6/14! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

these are really dope! I actually expected more colorways like this one when Jordan talked about the fact that they could print everything on the woven upper. But so far they have only released rather boring colorways to the public...

There are all sorts of fabric markers and inks at your local arts and crafts store.

There are a few tutorials on YouTube of people using fabric markers to make designs on blank shirts.

I'm not sure how effective it would work on the XX9 uppers though.
 
Has Jordan brand ever came out and actually said the photo reels is a woven picture? Or has everyone just been assuming that?
 
How much clearer can JB be when they say "PERFORMANCE WOVEN UPPER
An innovative single-layer woven upper engineered to provide comfort, support, strength and protection."
That is the description of the XX9 from JB website. It don't change. I was at the release in NYC and had them in hand. They are completely WOVEN.
 
Of course the XX9s are woven, my interpretation is that he wants to know is the image itself woven into the design, or is it merely printed onto the weave?

I haven't seen the photo reels in person, but I have seen the YOTS and I got the impression the colors were printed onto the weave and NOT woven onto the shoe. There is a difference...
 
I didn't like them on the Breds, Easters and now Playoffs.

They literally reused the same three patterns for the life of the shoe. Giant Jumpman, Elephant Print and color blocking and that pattern. Only deviation were the BHM, YOTG and PR.

Whereas Lebrons, Kobe's, Kyries, KDs, etc get a multitude of different patterns, color ways and iD options. It really is sad.

That's correct. I have the PRs, the picture is printed/dyed/sublimated or whatever on the woven upper. It isn't one big embroidered image.
