Nike Air Trainer 3 retro's over the years

Sucks that they've cheaped out on QC. Seems like the materials are decent but there's no consistency on how they're put together. My pair feels a slight bit more comfortable and correct on the right shoe vs the left but it wasn't enough to exchange them. Just feels like the left shoe needs to be broken in a little.

Sweet jesus, I went and grabbed a pair of the Medicine Balls.

Even though I recently sold off the pairs I had from the last retro, I gave these a go since everyone said the fit was better and they broke in quicker.

Wore the new pair last night to walk around and by the end of the night it hurt to step on my left foot . We got in late so I came in and went straight to bed literally and my foot was hurting for 15-20 mins while I was trying to fall asleep.

I love the cw dearly but I don't know if I can endure the break-in period if it requires more than 4-5 wears  May have to stick w/ AT1s.

I'm at 20 wears and its better. I still have to wear thin socks though. They just aren't kind in the width department at all. There is no break in in that regard.. I don't have pinky toe issues persay, just an overall tightness where my foot almost falls asleep

Wore mine for about eight hours two days ago, pinky toe issue in full effect. The previous retro did not give me this problem at all.

My strap was undone and laces were loose, might be time to return some pairs

Okay, I may give a thin sock a shot.

On the prev. retro, the pair I wore hurt my right foot. This time around, the right shoe is roomy and feels great. It's the left that crippled me  Like, by the end of the night, I was moving gingerly.

The things we put ourselves through for our kicks...

I'll preface This by saying we should NOT have to do this to wear sneakers! When I first tried on this years Med Balls I could tell they fit and feel way better than the last pairs, but still narrow, and still pinky toe issues. I actually remedied this by wearing thicker socks to minimize friction, and I actually took a preemptive strike and put a small bandaid on the aforementioned pinky toe beforehand as a barrier. Worked like a charm, but I'm hoping these will break in enough that I don't have to wear protective gear for my sneakers.

worn mine about 30 times+ by now
still facing the same probs yall have after just a few wears

i can wear them for about 4 hours max :smh: ...wanted to make them my new beaters but guess not

the shoe "skeleton" is too rigid...they could use any mats on the exterior, won't solve the discomfort

I sent Mine back to eastbay , such a damn shame I can't even wear a pair of my grails

^

in the end, they really aren't anymore comfortable to me than the '09...but they do look better, the toe box improvement

they didn't fix the toebox but they did improve it

i didn't return the at1 chlor's from a few years ago & won't be returning these either :smh:

I went up a full size in these. Did you guys go TTS? Maybe you need a .5 size or full size bigger.

I have a simple rule - women wear high heels to look nice, but they go thru pain to do it.

I am not a woman  I don't care how nice a shoe looks, I won't wear it if it's not comfortable. Way too many options out there to be suffering with one shoe.

Quality rule to live by lol..couldnt agree more.

Two of my four pairs are going back to EastBay tomorrow, Pinky toe pain is unbelievably bad

I still haven't broken mine out. I don't like what I'm hearing.
But, I gave my Barry Sanders AT2s a second wear, and those hurt pretty bad. So I think I know the pain you guys are talking about. I'll have to think on this one.
