What kind of cars say "I am well off, but I don't like to brag about it"?

If so... :pimp:
make no mistake about it

Cadillac ranks as high as their European rivals in terms of prestige & quality, we're just spoiled because we live in america so you see em all da time.

you can thank GM for dishing all that money on revitalizing da Cadillac nameplate with da "art & science" design philosophy back in da early 2000's

now other american luxury brands you have a point about because certain companies let their brand equity go down da tubes

(Buick, Lincoln, Oldsmobile RIP,  Mercury RIP, Chrysler other than da 300) even though those name plates have RICH history decades upon decades

meanwhile Japanese luxury brands dont even exist in Japan up until VERY recently, infinit, acura, and lexus have been remixed badge

engineered models for da US market that already exist in Japan under their Honda, Toyota, or Nissan counterparts, so theirs no REAL prestiege

there.

you go to places like Texas and you'd see things like..

which hold more clout then any luxury brand from overseas, but since it doesn't have a luxury name plate, its understated.
as a Texas resident, this is 100% not true.

But I will say this...

People don't know that those F-150s, silverados, and ram 1500s can run you up to $65k with all the extras...[/quote]

one of my friends has an F250 I believe, fully loaded. Ran him something like $85

Two cars come to mind, a prius and a volkswagen - both cars i'd **** with on the real with their new models.

 Thread screams "I don't have money"

A bunch of dudes with no money talking about what people with big money drive. But everyone's wrong

recently saw a CLA for the first time. exterior its not as bad as i thought in person. that interior might be a diff story. either way, $30k for what..200 hp? i mean yea you don't need a lot of hp in everyday driving, but then again, what are you really getting for 30k? is that money really just for the name? like paying 3k for a mac pro desktop...30k is STi money...no luxury really, but you are getting a strong 300hp reliable engine that costs less to maintain.

:nerd:

I hate to break it to you bruh, but STis are ugly to the rest of the world.

To the average Just-get-in-my-car-to-get-to-where-I'm-going Joe, paying 30 grand for a overpowered Japanese econobox is just as crazy.

Its not badge flossing, its called personal values. If you dont drive fast, what you need power for? Might as well ride in luxury.

nah. benz and audi and bmw is def purchased for badge flossing...partly at least. the CLA is just more flossing than normal because 30K is expensive anyway you look at it, but what are you really getting for it? fine u dont need power. 200 hp. ok. but wat else? what makes it luxurious compared to a fully loaded accord, or maxima? maybe it is the badge, that **** lights up b.

and sti isn't that bad. you are def buying a wrx/sti for the engine ill give u that.

a fully loaded new accord or a bare bones CLA

id pick the accord

cla starts at 29k but like all germans those options add up real quick

an yea who really wants to pay 31k for a camry, altima, or accord?

to each their own though, most ppl whipping those got the normal versions with a few perks or hell the entry base

imo no car is worth the price these days, it is what it is. car industry got something for everybody though

BMW M3: Most regular people will think it's just like a 3 series because it's not flashy but car people will appreciate it for what it is.
